I do think wlad is the best heavy but really beside peter who has he fought that actually had a chance to ko all of the people fought through out his career havent really been that great. What great heavy hasn,t fought at least really heavy weight or hall of famer this late there career, as in late im mean 50 fights.

This is bad for Lamon. Buddy produces alot of losers. I'll take any bets here that McGirt will tell Brewster to "aim for the chest!" He says that to every fighter in every fight. I'm serious about taking bets on it too. Holla.

I asked Buddy today about whether he thought Wladimir had improved since the last time they fought. His response .. some BS ...

That's the same Buddy that said that Arturo Gatti would beat PBF.

He has to say that Gatti would beat PBF. What is he supposed to say? That his fighter is going to lose? McGirt obviously knew Gatti would lose to Mayweather because I don't know if you guys remember, but the Gatti camp tried to pull Gatti out of that fight with Mayweather a few months before it was going to happen. They said that Mayweather's camp had missed a deadline for sending them the contract. The WBC then said they'd strip Gatti of the title if he didn't go forward with the fight. Anyways, the point is McGirt had no false illusions about the Gatti fight.

I think Klitschko has improved. He holds a lot more and is better at tying guys up. This is important for a big man. Boring, but effective. Klitschko is also more patient now and paces himself better.

eh, i'm thinking that mcgirt kind of has to say that kind of stuff, saying that he's the same, this and that.

the HW division period is a mess and has no real top contenders, no one is a serious threat and no one is of the material of being a long reigning dominant champion.

he's right to a certain extent about wlad looking good against his last few opponents, but brewster isn't anything to brag about right now either or talk up. after the wlad fight he looked like **** against meehan, looked like the second coming against golota, then looked like **** against Krasniqi until he got the ko, but he was behind on all cards rightfully so he looked terrible in there, and then he loses to Lyakhovich, now he has been off for over a year with a detached retina in his left eye and he had to undergo surgery. not good, all the while wlad has been staying active.

this all stacks up against brewster and in order to make his fighter look good mcgirt is cornered into saying these things by his position of trainer.

i think this fight is a bad fight for brewster, having been off for so long and with a serious eye injury. he's going to be fighting off ring rust, trying to get his timing back, not to mention his confidence. not good odds for brewster, he should've taken some tune up fights.

and i've said this before and i'll say it again, stuff like this is how boxers get hurt. he's basically going into the fight cold and under prepared, because he's going after the bigger payday instead of getting himself right to fight, not having a tune up after a long layoff and having to recuperate his eye is dangerous going into the ring with someone like wlad or someone on his level.

unless he comes out like he did against golota, brewster i think is dead in the water and at a serious risk of getting hurt.( mostly regarding the eye)

think about it for a second, he had a detached retina from Lyakhovich, with wlads power and accuracy whats' going to happen then? more than likely something just as bad if not worse............................not a good management move from brewster and his people.........................

King dumped him, so Brewster is looking for a one-shot deal to fix his finances. If he loses, he can try to set up a rubber match with Wlad or just retire.

Heavies get extra lives these days. Wlad knocking him out doesn't end him unless he's ready.

Its time for Klitschko to clean up the heavyweights. Starting with the other beltholders. These past few fights are a waste of time.

If Peter and Klitschko fight again it will be the same outcome. Wladimir stuffing right hands in his forhead.
