Hatton-Castillo: Who wins and how? (with in depth analysis and explanation)

Before anything I want to say that your explanations and expressions of thought are only YOUR OPINION. Not FACT. And oh yeah, no haters.

Who: I pick Castillo by TKO/KO by 11 or under.

How: 1. I think Castillo's body work will be something Hatton hasn't experienced. He hasn't taken body shots and agressive and powerful as Castillo's. Also, he doesn't take a body shot very well (i.e. the Urango fight.) So when he takes those body shots from Castillo he'll be hurt.

    2. Hatton hasn't faced somebody as agressive and tough as Castillo and has always fought coming foward in his career. He won't be able to utilize the punishment he usually does and is accustomed to when Castillo meets him in the center of the ring and doesn't back up. It will mess with his mind and confidence when he realizes he can't bully Castillo.

    3. Hatton hasn't been in a situation where he has to rally back from being hurt and Castillo can deal relentless punishment up top and bottom nonstop for twelve hard rounds. Hatton will fold under the pressure and the body shots. Rounds 1-3, Castillo feels him out and tests the waters. Rounds 4-6, Castillo begins his work. Round 7-11, all out war of attrition and relentless all-out punishment by Castillo, knocks Hatton out in the eleventh or under.

Hatton has been doing a heck of alot of work on his body, to take them shots, I find Hatton's heart and chin to be too strong for Castillo to stop him. Im very worried about cuts in this fight for both fighters, hopefully none early on. Castillo is notorious for starting slow, if he does this vs Hatton he could end up on the back foot all night, im sure hes prepared for this and will come guns blazing. I could see a Hatton TKO late rounds as I believe Hatton is the naturally stronger guy, If Castillo starts well I can see him getting a close decision.

Its going to be war, it sure as hell won't be pretty, if one of these guys fights dirty the other retaliate with twice as much revenge. Hatton's footwork is very underrated, he moves and punches all the time, I will struggle to see Castillo ever back him up in the fight. Castillo's best chance is to be agressive and counter punch with that murderous left hook he has. If he connects with the left hook like he did with Corrales in the second fight, Ricky could be in some serious trouble. Strength, stamina and heart are going to be the factors in this fight, we all know both fighters have these attributes in abundance.

The main factor though in this fight is Hatton ready to go to hell and back, he is so used to dishing out the pain on others but how is he going to feel taking back. All I know its going to be a great fight and I just can't wait as im a fan of both fighters!

My Pick : Hatton TKO round 11

you said it all nice analysis. Unless the clock has tick tocked once too often for Castillo Hatton will have to bring his A++ game just to finish

I don't see either knocked out. That's a bit extreme.

Everyone points to those body shots by Urango as a sign of Rick's "weak" body, even though Rick rallied and had his best round in the next round and won every round on every card thereafter.
