If you think Zab deserves a rematch then you are a Judah fan. Theres just no other reason.

But anyways I dont take this interview seriously, and dont even think its true.

There's no need for a rematch now, maybe in a year or two. The fight most boxing fans that I know want to see most is Cotto vs. Mayweather.

Been there done that. This is a step back for Cotto. He beat Judah with out a doubt. A rematch would be warranted only if the fight was close, which it wasn't or if Jab had have been a head and Cotto got lucky with one punch, which also didn't happen.

Either Cotto is worried about stepping into deep waters or Bob is protecting is meal ticket.

oh, for god's sake, miguel! why the **** are you giving judah a rematch? you just knocked him out, hes 0-3 with one no contest and he hasnt won a fight since may of '05!

zab judah is completely undeserving of a rematch. thats like carlos baldomir giving arturo gatti a rematch. totally unneccessary.

This fight aint never gonna happen. You need to remember GLeon is a BK based publisher and he's trying to promo a rematch to hook up his boy Zab. I remember the same **** happened when he mentioned a possible Vivian Harris vs Cotto match and all the **** he talked about Cotto to create public interest. Sounds like they're pretty desperate.

Miguel Cotto is the more durable, stronger, more consistent fighter - but he is by no means a better fighter than Zab Judah.

First off I definately don't believe it had those types of PPV numbers. 1 000 000 buys is a huge amount. It would be phenomenal news if it did that well, but give me a break, over 300 000 buys is considered good for a boxing PPV, 1 000 000 for Cotto-Judah would be completely off the charts.

He also said Top Rank has contacted them and wants to do a rematch in Puerto Rico. Zab himself said he wanted a rematch in Puerto Rico immediately after the fight, so both parties are on the same page. If Cotto and Judah get through their next bouts (Cotto has his mandatory and Zab fighting Sept 7th as a 'stay busy' fight on FNF), expect the rematch fight to be signed for sometime in early to mid 2008.
great news but i think same result

                      WOW!!!! allstar is crazy!

Well, I do not think Zab would lose a rematch, and if he did, I doubt that it would be a KO. It's like, so what he lost a few fights. I have seen people on this forum praise other fighters that took way worse beatings than any Zab has, and that is no lie.

I am personally like both Cotto and Judah, and would definitely like to see them fight again, without the low blows. Zab was doing ok in the beginning rounds. He just seemed to give up mentally early, and that was evident in his lack of punching.

I mean, perspectives vary on what happened but I know everyone here would watch them fight again.
