Why haven't we heard about the number of pay-per-view buys before this comment from Yoel Judah? One million buys would be an extremely impressive number, even for a fight that most boxing fans were truly pumped up for. (and it is even more impressive when you factor in that boxing is dead. LMAO!)

It would be ****** for the Judah to rematch with Cotto. First he needs to get his confidence up and get a few wins against quality opponents. (not bums) Hell Judah doesn't even need to rematch with Cotto, he just needs wins against top fighters in his division.

I think this is such a shame for Miguel Cotto.. To have a great victory marred by controversy..
But, what can be said?
Detraction is going to catch up with Cotto like a ton of bricks when he takes his first L.
After watching the workrate of Fernando Vargas drop off at almost the exact same clip as the output of Zab Judah by proximity - I'm starting to consider the possibilty; powerful, accurate cup shots can do more damage to a fighter over the duration, than KD's caused by headblows..
Can there be any question with such compelling evidence?
**** the ****** fanboynatical talk that Cotto "destroyed" Judah.
I've already had reference made by any and all qualified members of the forum that low blows are/were serious, imminent business.
Without them, there is serious doubt Cotto could even win that fight!
It's common sense, but that doesn't seem good enough for the **** riders..
Miguel Cotto got the win. That is all that matters.
Let's not re-characterize physics and basic intelligence in the process.
Fanboys want to keep talking fantasy? OK!

Low blows count; it doesn't taint a victory for anyone. The idea is to beat the other guy up. If you get a point deducted in the process, that's not always a big deal.
Cotto did destroy Judah and he could do it again, but he's gotta go after bigger fish.

Should he lose, however, the house of cards will be a few story's taller..

Cotto's an exciting fighter. His flaws are too obvious for him to ever get 'exposed'. No one's running around saying he'd knock out De La Hoya or Mayweather. Maybe they are, but I'm not listening. Cotto was a bad matchup for Judah though, I never thought Judah should fight Cotto. He needed to get Hatton, Malignaggi, maybe even Paul Williams, but not Cotto.

He also said Top Rank has contacted them and wants to do a rematch in Puerto Rico. Zab himself said he wanted a rematch in Puerto Rico immediately after the fight, so both parties are on the same page. If Cotto and Judah get through their next bouts (Cotto has his mandatory and Zab fighting Sept 7th as a 'stay busy' fight on FNF), expect the rematch fight to be signed for sometime in early to mid 2008.
I think Judah wins this rematch by KO, setting the stage for a rubbermatch that might not make any PPV records, but it'll go down as being comparable to any great fights in the last 10 years or so, with the exception of only a few.
Judah is perfectly capable of beating Cotto if he keeps his hands working. He's faster, has great power, more ring experience, and enough cash to buy a stainless-steel cup. Or maybe he'll just have his balls bronzed before the fight. Anyway, I think he had it in his head that he was going to KO Cotto early, and just didn't come into the ring in the shape he needed to be in. I don't believe he'll make that mistake again.
