    Ali's has 5 Fight's of the year:

1964: Muhammad Ali KO7 Sonny Liston, see Ali versus Liston
1971: Joe Frazier W15 Muhammad Ali (first fight), see Fight of the Century
1974: Muhammad Ali KO8 George Foreman, see The Rumble in the Jungle
1975: Muhammad Ali KO14 Joe Frazier (third fight), see Thrilla in Manila
1978: Leon Spinks W15 Muhammad Ali

20 years from now, people will still be watching Ali fights.

People today wont watch a Mayweather fight more than once.

Ali is named Fighter of the year 4 times in his career:
    1972 Muhammad Ali/Carlos Monzon
    1974 Muhammad Ali
    1975 Muhammad Ali
    1978 Muhammad Ali

Floyd Mayweather Jr. does not have a FOTY
Floyd Mayweather Jr is mentioned as Fighter of the year ONCE in 1998.

Roy Jones Jr. does not have a FOTY
Roy Jones, Jr. Floyd is mentioned as Fighter of the year ONCE in 1994.

    =========================================

These little JUNIORS (JR's) claim they are all that but we know better.

    Floyd is better than Robbinson?
    LMAO!
Floyd is better than Ray Leonard?

Floyd is better than Muhammad Ali?

    In your ****ing dreams.

GET THE **** OUT OF HERE!

    =========================================

FLOYD IS A FRAUD AND A LIAR!.

Did you notice that Muhammad Ali also has Fight of the Century

Floyd does not have any of these because he wont fight anyone.

Floyd Fights Bums and old men and claims he is the greatest.

    He is a joke.

If Margarito beats Williams, he'll fight Cotto - then the winner looks like a good fight for PBF

Or he can get big money with Golden Boy promoting vs. Shane Mosley

I think he sits out a long while and waits for a really attractive money offer like one of these - Mosley may need a name win in the meantime too. I'd like to see him fight Joshua Clottey or Kermit Cintron

If I had to guess, I would say that is what Floyd is probably doing, because IF Cotto can get by the winner of Williams - Margarito, the money would be huge. Not quite DLH huge, but big nonetheless.

Besides the biggest money fight that can be made right now, imo, is DLH v Cotto. That fight could do some serious damage in PPV sales.

          3) Shane Mosely

If he takes on one of these three guys in his next fight I promise to Mayweather fans to permanently shut up about Mayweather's opposition selection.
          1. cotto is slated to face the winner of williams/margarito, so throw those three names out... for now.

          2. i dont know whos fault it is, but when mayweather's and mosley's camps talk, nothing happens. this fight has been talked about for years and is yet to happen and from what i hear, no progress is being made.

          3. oscar has already refused a rematch with floyd. "been there, done that" is what he is reportedly said.

          4. hatton's staying at 140. a wise choice. at 147, floyd would rip him apart.

really, the only fight that makes sense is one with mosley. cotto/margarito/williams are slated to fight each other, de la hoya says "no rematch", so sugar shane is the only one left in the welterweight-jr middleweight range.

but theres a few catches to that fight (in boxing, theres always a catch). talks for that fight keep falling apart, as previously stated. shane will turn 36 in september, so you cant really say hes in his prime either.

when you look at it, floyd's really in a no win situation. a fight with mosley will be hard to get, and shane's no spring chicken. but floyd has no1 to blame but himself for that.

winky will be 36 in november (old), will be coming down from LHW (weight drained), and i seriously doubt mayweather's going to fight at middleweight (floyd).

winky will be old, drained, and working with floyd is never easy.

Fake Floyd should continue to fight the Gattis, Judahs and old DLH.

Fighting a real elite will only get him exposed as the fake that he is.
