As far as I'm concerned there are 3 acceptable opponents for Mayweather's next fight.

1) Winner of Paul Williams - Antonio Margarito
2) Miguel Cotto
3) Shane Mosely

If he takes on one of these three guys in his next fight I promise to Mayweather fans to permanently shut up about Mayweather's opposition selection.

Shane-Mayweather fight
Williams/Margarito -Cotto
Then winner of fight one fights winner of fight two.
That's assuming that Floyd still wants to fight and if he did beat shane and still wanted to fight AND cotto beat the winner of Williams/Margarito then I think there would be huge demand for a Floyd-Cotto fight.

what are you talking about? when has Cotto ever called Mayweather out? if anything, Cotto was the one who piped down at the Mayweather-Gatti fight, which he attended for scouting purposes.
