And besides 2 really nice counter punches that seemed to ROCK Hatton(but not put him down) He beat the piss out of Collazo.. and scored the only Knock down..

Some people are pretty selective in what they Remember
well it wasnt a spectacular fight to be honest... he chose some difficult foes to fight,i think they should of let hatton fight some guys who would make him look good to build him up not some tough guys who arent really that known.

urango didnt throw much punches so it was all hatton in that fight.

i wish they didnt let 140 pounders were 10 oz gloves! thats the worst rule in vegas are tehy gonna make them wear those this saturday? they need to bring it back down to 8 oz.

all in all im just happy this fight is happening! castillo vs hatton has the makings of fight of the year lets hope so.

****...its like having a flashback to this morning when i was reading the newspaper.

In the sun today Frank Warren said the same thing - that Ricky isn't fighting enough - and under Warrens regime, he kept Ricky busy to curb his temptations to booze and binge eat.

Edit: Oh yeah, and nice thread Domain. Best Hatton thread i've seen.

But ... on the other hand, I don't think Ricky wants to fight no more journey men and easy opponents. (Hatton says he wishes to create a name for himself, as a kind of legacy - a man who wasn't a ducker of fights). Yet you can't keep giving him HUGE championship battles all the time - he can't fight a Urango every month, it would be too much to recover from such wars.

Bah... we'll see what happens on sunday morning, then we'll decided if Hattons got what it takes to carry on forging that WORLDWIDE 'legacy' he wants. (I only say that, because i think in he'll go down as one of the greatest British boxers after retirement).

Hatton has always ballooned between fights. Warrens a bitter man when it comes to Hatton.
