Lets hope HATTON makes us a FAN again on Saturday.

The guy hasnt been the same in a long time he last great performance was against maussa where he knocked the dude silly and was active nonstop.

I have been a hatton fan but lately his american invasion has been less then stellar they should of built him up against some guys who were not high risk fighters! urango, collazo those guys are no names but they were very risky as you could see.

they should of fed hatton some guys he could knock out with body shots first...or do you guys think he is already peaked?

i am hoping the old ricky shows up on saturday against castillo and for the same i hope the old castillo shows up as well.

Domain, completly with you on this one, Ricky is my favourite fighter by far when hes on his game, the last two fights have really put me off, especially when you have to pay PPV here for them, i almost tore my hair out in the fight vs Urango, paying £15 at 4am to watch that! the old Ricky better be back!

Ricky Hatton's biggest mistake in his career is one that many boxers make: once he became established as a world class boxer, he stopped fighting his usual several times a year. He fought only once in 2006 - that's not enough to keep him at his best.

But the good news is he's having two fights in 6 months so far this year, and I hope he takes another one in a few months, so at least three this year. I believe he will win back all his fans this coming Saturday with a great performance!

I would like to see him get a title back next fight by fighting Malignaggi maybe in October, and then try to unify the light welterweight division, by fighting M'Baye and Witter.

I couldn't agree more mate, Ricky was very active pre Kostya so he hardly put the weight on, his style relies on timing, it looks like he gets ring rust looking from his last two fights. Im not the biggest fan of frank warren but atleast he kept Hatton active.

^ that will be a another tough fight paulie vs ricky hatton, i heard floyd jr might fight ricky if he gets passed castillo and they will market the fight getting ppvs from england and usa.

I hope floyd mans up though.

i remember floyd jr saying he would fight ricky in his hometown in front of 65 thousand hatton fans if the money is right.

After his last fight, the referee for this fight should be ready to warn him before the fight and if necessary penalize him during the fight for holding. This is why it was ****** for Hatton to hold so much against Urango. He didn't need to hold against Urango, but since it happened so much officials are going to be all over his ass in a big fight where he just might need to hold at times.

I have seen Ricky Hatton fight only twice, against Urango and Collazo. In the early rounds against Urango I saw glimpses of great boxing ability but became extremely disapointed with his clutching in the late rounds for no reason whatsoever. Obviously he wasn't impressive against Collazo. This is Hatton's last chance to turn me into a fan.

Hatton isn't over the hill or faded in my opinion, his reflexes, stamina, balance, and handspeed look perfectly fine and in fact very good. Against Urango he just made the decision to not fight 12 rounds and I hope he doesn't make that decision again.

Hatton apologized to the fans for his poor performance against Maussa. From there it has been all down hill. The old Hatton had better show up because Castillo can punch.
