Looks like it is Bas Rutten training him there. Couldn't ask for a better trainer. I don't know how Mercer would go if they end up on the ground. I see it over in the first round, either Mercer KO's him early from a punch, or Kimbo submits him on the ground. Bas Rutten would have emphasised on that in training, as he knows he will never outbox or outslug mercer.

Kimbo isn't going to submit anyone. He MAY take Mercer down and ground and pound but a couple of months of training on the ground doesn't negate his instincts of stand up fight.

The only question mark for me is Mercers tank. I'm not sure how much stamina he has left. Thats the only thing I'm debating before I drop some $ on this fight.

Actually I'm not worried about Kimbo's power. Kimbo's power is a myth. You'll see that he has only knocked out 1 guy in all his street fights (that white bouncer who cracks his knuckles).

All the other guys just gave up. Kimbo landed tons of clean shots on bumbs and they are fine. They give up but there is no extrodinary KO in any of his fights.

Well Kimbo hit Gannon enough to cut up his face alot and he still never really even staggered him. And Kimbo gassed in that fight too. I won't bet on the fight, I'm nervous it may be worked. If I did though, I would bet on Mercer.
