    Pre-watson Eubank beats Calzaghe period.

Eubank was more worried after the Watson fight due to what happened to his opponent.

He had to lose 20lbs in under a week and had taken the fight on 11 days notice... plus he hadn't look good since the Wharton fight and before that since the Rocchigiani fight and before that since the Holmes fight (so that's three good performances in over four and a half years, and three good performances in something like 15 ****ing fights). He'd clearly lost to Amaral and Schommer, clearly lost 11 out of 12 rounds in his last world title fight before retiring and looked horrible in his comeback fights in the Far East. Horrible. There was no question Calzaghe was going to win (unless he just froze on the occasion, had poor stamina or chin), Eubank was a huge underdog with the bookies

Eubank suprisingly fought the better fighters, Juy, even though he hated the game and was a businessman.

You have to point the finger at Calzaghe's promotor.

Calzaghe hasn't proved his skills yet, Juy. Eubank proved his against Benn, Watson (you can compare him with McCallum and he looked just as good, if not better), Thornton (you can compare him with Toney and Jones and he looked just as good, if not better), Rocchigiani, boxers like that.

Benn was coming off a one-round blowout of a former and future world champion and Rocchigiani was undefeated and a former and future world champion. That's substance.

Read the post again, I edited another paragraph in at the bottom.

Didn't you once post 'Everything Calzaghe can do, Eubank could do and more'? Did you change your mind after Calzaghe-Lacy, oldgringo?

Word is bond son. 2 classes still stands. Banks makes mince meat of Calz in his prime. Calz doesn't crack hard enough to the body for Banks to worry. Eu need to understand that Chris would have Joe staring at the lucid stuff by the end of the night.

But wasn't Lacy a 168lb version of a cross between Mike Tyson and Evander Holyfield in their primes? Calzaghe toyed with him, threw and landed 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, and 11-punch combinations, and stuff.

If Lacy wasn't, then it's you're tough luck. You Americans said he was.
