Eubank would beat Joe you talk about grit and digging deep in fights
ie..eubank/Watson eubank/Benn one the man was a warrior who joe fought a shell of..

eubank was a replacement opponent when calzaghe fought him.
if they were both in there primes and had decent preparation calzaghe could stop him! eubank is like hatton, you give him a few body shots hes done for.

even when he was younger i saw eubank rob many bums, so i dony rate him highly at all.

Hatton has never been stopped, beaten so how can body shots make him done for. Eubank has only been stopped once in his career, in his last fight vs Thompson.

Calzaghe would always beat Eubank because he'd always be far too busy for him

But then again, pretty much ANY fighter who stayed on top of him and maintained a good workrate could beat Eubank

Eubank was so popular due to his character and rivalry with Benn. Also is comeback KO against Watson is one of the most amazing things ive ever seen in the ring.

He also competed at Cruiser weight, and fought a young Calzaghe at very short notice and did pretty damn well.
He stopped Benn at his best, but then spoiled his career with lots of suspect wins and poor performances.

I think Eubank deserves more credit. Its not just about winning all the time. I like the fact he showed such heart and skill and character when he needed to.
The Watson and Benn wins alone put him above Calzaghe for me.

I always thought Eubank wasn't the same fighter after the Watson fight, shook him up.

Prime vs Prime Eubank would win. But Calzaghe would win more often, especially over their career (rather than Prime vs Prime).

                      So I'm going for Calzaghe.
