Carl Froch

Someone give me the run down on this fella. I'd do my own research but I'm a lazy American.

I have seen people calling him a personality, calling him a world class fighter, saying he's among the elite of the 168 pound weight class.

So what's his deal? Will I be watching him decapitate people on television soon or is Froch just a prospect with promise?

Im a big fan of Froch, he has a chance against any of the champions mainly due to his power, he hits like a mule. The only thing I don't like about Froch when he fights he can keep his hands pretty low, last couple of fights he has learned from it. Can be a very exciting fighter, I expect him to go far but needs to the bigger and better fights, he will be Kesslers Mandatory next to. Hes fighting Reid next that would be a good test, if reid comes in with the right frame of mind, he should then have a shot vs Kessler & Calzaghe.

i never thought much of him at first but he has impoved at lot recently.
he is very ****y and mouthy. his style is a bit open but he has good power

I saw a couple of fights on Youtube and wasnt that impressed. He has good power, but he fights with his hands down if I recall, and hes not that fast.

He models his life and fighting style after some anicent monks.. NO joke..

He looks sloppy at times.. but he is in complete control.. and always stalking.. he gets hit but his beard seems quite tough.. and once he starts throwing.. The end is not too far off...

I think he is something special... And his moment of rekoning should be soon hopefully...

Anoraks brother is Carl Froch. Interesting. I am sold on him myself I think he has the goods.

He beat a guy called Tatevosyan in 2 rounds, this Tatevosyan had previously went the full 12 against Bute before losing a decision in January this year. This Froch has great potential, a pity he won't be fighting for a while due to injury.
