If Cotto has so many fans, why did he do only 250k buys against Judah when Mayweather-Judah did 350k? Mayweather did more than 250k with Baldomir... wned2:

Now you see why Mayweather is calling the shots...

Again where are you getting the numbers for your Cotto-Judah 250k buys? I'm very interested in seeing your source.

          THEY DON'T.
You can take that crap somewhere else. I hate it when people say that. If anyone thinks that then there ****in clowns and straight up haters. If you were a athelte you would be doing the exact same thing. Stop hating on them because they made it in a very succesful way and are trying to get what they think they deserve. Despite what people think, it is no different then a guy who makes 50,000 a year and thinks he deserves 60. The fact is thats what money they make. Who are you to tell them to stop crying. I hate it when people say that ****. My brother use to be broke and now he makes like 300,000 a year but he still will say the same thing about athelets as you do. Then I put him in his place and tell him that there are people making 30,000 a year that would tell you to STFU when you try to get paid more on your job, which he always tries to do. Then he says that if he had millions then he wouldnt be trying to get more but yes he would, just like everyone else would. Stop hating, its all relative

Other fighters can have mega fights and they still cant do or they barely do the same thing as Floyd even when he's having just a OK fight.

I told them that no one still knows who Cotto is even over Mosley. You go down a regular street with black & white people and no one knows Cotto. Floyd is more popular then all these guys. Even the guys who may pass him, its still only due to race. Boxing is much bigger in Mexico & PR.

The fact is that Floyd is more popular then all those guys now and has been for awhile

Hell yeah. There's like 20 guys I would love to see Floyd fight but I know its not reality. Im just as upset as the haters over not seeing Floyd anymore but its his right to retire or demand more money

We talked about this when it came to Oscar. Mosley is basically in the same boat as Oscar when it comes to legacy. Shane has fought alot of tough guys but he's also lost some big fights. Shane is talking about retiring but what is his legacy? If he leaves now then he will be seen as a good solid guy but imagine what a win over Floyd would due to his legacy? He'd be a fool not to try to do everything he could to make this fight with Floyd. What if he retired on that win? Thats what these guys have to understand and thats why Oscar took the fight. He knew that would be huge for him. Alot of people think Mosley is the guy to beat Floyd. Why not take a cut to get that win on your resume? Shane isnt seen as #1 but Floyd is. He is fine with retiring right now.

The same goes for Hatton. Hatton doesnt even get much credit anymore and he has dropped way down in the P4P rankings. Imagine if he dominated Castillo and then finished off his career by beating Floyd? It would completely changed the way he is looked at and you could make a easy argument that he is the #1 fighter in the game.

Thats what you guys dont get. Its not Floyd. These guys are the one's that have to make the sacrafices for there legacy. Shane's opponents are overrated anyway because he didnt know how good they were. Most people thought he would kill Forrest and no one even really cared about that fight at the time. Winky was no different then Kassim Ouma. He didnt get huge until after that win. Its not like Shane beat fought these guys when they were already considered great.

Cotto is a good fighter with some solid wins. Even without Floyd he can rack up a solid resume but those fights arent going to be easy. No matter who he fights at WW, its going to be a super tough fight that he has a "chance" of losing. If thats the case then you should risk a L on Floyd. If he fights Clottey, Baldy, or whoever he still isnt going to make that much money. He might as well take the Floyd fight if some other guys might be just as hard to beat. What is going to happened is these idiots are going to lose to someone else for much less money and there going to feel dumb for not fighting Floyd instead

Its all about promotion. The DLH fight was promoted as the fight to save boxing. If Mosley's fight was promoted that much then theres no doubt it would have done the same amount of buys.
