Oliver McCall deserves an immediate title shot

No BS, McCall is the only guy in the division willing to take on anyone in their hometown, whatever, and beats them. McCall may not be the savior, but he deserves his shot. Give the man his just deserts.

He's not going to get it anytime soon by fooling around with a Sam rematch.

Uhhhh, no he doesn't deserve a title shot. He is 42 years old and the best win he has had in the past 10 years has been over Przemyslaw Saleta. Unless you consider his win over Sinan Samil Sam to be better. From the looks of the scores this was a close fight and Sam is extremely mediocre from what I can remember watching him fight Juan Carlos Gomez

I dont agree. who's he beaten besides Sam who is nothing more than a journeyman? his 2 other biggest fights he drew with tos and lost to jcg. I think jcg deserves a shot over mcall even though he hasnt beaten any world beaters himself

He beat Akinwande who's not a great fighter, although still a decent win. That was a while ago though. He's still done a hell of a lot more than some people who have been given shots. This is not a fair sport as we know, though.

Deserves? There are enough guys out there doing it right; if McCall's name recognition gets him a shot right now it would be unfortunate.

But if he can beat a young top contender, then sure

Must be bias against Brit f.ags.

Either that or beating those two won't help get a title shot. Yeah I think it's the latter.
