Team Mayweather Disses Oscar For Not Wanting A Rematch.

    L. Ellerbe went on the record to say that Oscar doesnt want a rematch because he knew he got his ass whooped by the smaller Mayweather, and he knows that he can NEVER beat Floyd.

My question is, why is Mayweather and team dissapointed at not getting a rematch?.......Floyd won! I know that money is the obvious reason, but Floyd aint broke. He's acting kind've desperate at this point for a rematch that isnt in high demand. I feel Oscar should hang'em up at this point. He had a great career, and enough money to last 3 life times. Its obvious he no longer has the tools to compete with the new young guns in the game today. As for Floyd?....It would be nice to see him go down to 147 and take on the the current champions in that division. If not, he should just stay retired. 154 is too big a division for him. He will have no choice to resort to his style as of lately (pot-shot and run). While some boxing "aficionados" might find that type of style entertaining, the majority of fans, especially the casual fans do not.

I wouldnt call a split decision that was decided by 1 point an Ass Whooping! If anything, Floyd's face looked worst than Oscar's after the fight.

      Money.

      there is your answer.

Floyd ALWAYS said he would fight de la hoya again no matter what the outcome was, he said that before may 5th,

      This is nothing new.

If Oscar really felt he could beat the #1 P4P in the sport, even after such a close fight and with so much money to be made, why doesn't he want the rematch? He knows he would just lose again...

I understand money being his motive, but what does that do for us fans? I feel that the so-called #1pfp fighter in the world should be trying to secure further legacy defining fights, as oppose to trying to get an obvious "past his best" Oscar back in the ring. While money is great for him, it does absolutely NOTHING for us, us being the people who make these boxers rich. Of course without fans, boxers would have nothing, so i feel that the boxers/fighters should be considerate to us fans when making these decisions.

Understood, but dont u think Oscar should be the one who would be screaming out a rematch, being that he lost?

Good for you, glad you got that off your chest.

This is another one of these stealth wind up threads which are very leading without making a proper point.

              YAWN.

nothing new here, no need for a thread about it.

lolz, what fight were you watching? i did'nt see oscar getting his ass whooped, of course i did'nt see oscar whoopin any either. it could have gone both ways. but that is weird that mayweather is asking for a rematch and (dissing) oscar, i guess the mayweather camp seems to know it could have gone either way. i hope it don't happen, it would be a waist of money for the ppv. i'd rather see oscar against trinidad, that would be worth watching.

                  Dude your high.

PBF's face didnt have a mark on it whilst DLH's face had bruises all over it.

                  You git that backwards bruvah?

Its about the money obviously. No PBF aint broke but who else can he fight and get paid 20 mill?

I never said Oscar got his ass whooped. Leonard Ellerbe did (Floyd's advisor, and undresser). I agree with the fact that a rematch would be a waste of time, and money for us fans though.
