I feel as if the cotto fans nor do hatton fans nor do any of the haters truly understand how good Floyd is once he beats their nuthugged boxer.
Just because Cotto was a machine against Zab Judah who I don't think has much left in the tank nor does it seem he has much desire left in this sport doesn't mean he'd be able to do such against Floyd.
Just because Hatton 'beat up' an old T-ZOO (beat up is bull**** considering what the scores were on the cards at the time of the towel being thrown) doesn't mean he deserves any chance with Mayweather. Yes we all know this fight was 3 fights ago (not counting the upcoming one with Castillo) but it still serves it's purpose since a lot of doubters like to bring up some of the older fights of Mayweather.
One of the most mind boggling things of Hatton is people thinking he actually deserves a shot against Mayweather. Hatton took on an elusive southpaw by the name of Luis Collazo, sure Hatton won this and 'knocked' down Collazo in the first round within the first 20 seconds but what is really amusing the thought that Hatton went right back down to 140 after this fight.
What his excuse for this? I usually don't pay attention to what he says because he usually just talks and talks about Mayweather this and Mayweather that.
Now he is fighting Castillo and if he gets past Castillo all of the Hatton nuthuggers will say he deserves a fight against Mayweather.
What has Hatton done to prove he deserves a shot against Mayweather Didn't he have his opportunities sometime ago?
IF Hatton and Mayweather ever do fight Hatton shouldn't be able to negotiate with anything. The fight should be a welterweight fight just so it seems fair for both boxers just so there isn't much of a challenge with hardly any weight while this is an opportunity for Hatton to prove he isn't scared of the welterweight class.
I just don't see what Hatton's done to prove himself worthy of Floyd.
