Calz for all his talent and ability has faced good competition. He won a vacant WBO title and then didn't fight another title holder or undfeated challenger till his 40+ fight.

It was only vacant because Collins saw what was coming and suddenly retired 2 weeks before the fight, which is why Eubank stepped in.

Ottke had 2 of the belts for a long time and the other belt was changing hands pretty regularly so it wasn't that easy to unify.

Don't **** with my flag, buddy. YOu have a problen with an individual, enjoy, have at 'em. Don't group everyone who happens to be in the same piece of real estate together as one. Besides, you post on a forum to discuss a sport that's both violent and bloody, you'd better learn to expect a certain number of kids and ******s to be pissing you off constantly.

Nunn wasn't worth fighting by 97.

The best fight he could have made was Hopkins. It was all agreed then Hopkins curiously priced himself out at the last minute.
          Thats a pretty fair assessment.

No Joe HASNT faced the best out there. Yes it is partially his fault, yes it is partially the fault of Frank Warren (he probably holds the most blame) and yes it is partially the fault of the other fighters.

Its up to Joe to get rid of frank if he isnt delivering, just like Hatton did, if hatton was still with warren he wouldnt be fighting castillo now,

Most warren fighters are overrated to the point of nausia,

Im still waiting for fat frank to deliver the Scott ' the real mc coy' Harrison VS Marco Antonio Barrera fight he promised me a few years ago.

            lol.

Of course, Barrera would have caused harrison more liver damage than his Alcohol Abuse did.

Agreed, but on the other hand...who does he go to? Calzaghe has always been publicity shy (up until lately, he finally seems to be getting the hint). He wants to stay in Wales, do his training and let his promoter make the fights. I heard him interviewed lately where he said that he doesnt care about September or November for the Kessler fights, but obviously Warren does, which is why he's being so obstinate over the dates (quite rightly I guess considering how useless Palle has been with everything else).

Calzaghe has said that he's not bothered about going down as being the best fighter of all time. He just wants to make money and beat the people he fights. Yes, he wants the 'career defining' fights. But he's fairly satisfied with his current place in boxing history too. At 35 he's a bit long in the tooth to be starting afresh with a new promoter. However I do agree thats what he needs.

Harrison ****ed his career up by drinking and beating people in in pubs in Spain, he was fantastic against anyone who wasn't a pure boxer, i would have given him a chance vs Barrera, styles make fights and Harrison is insanely strong at the weight. Saying that Harrison was too hot and cold for my liking, his best win was vs a shot Brodie, Brodie most likely the unluckiest fighter not to win a world title.

As for Joe, well i love his fighting style, but the opposition hasn't been the best. He really should have moved up a weight division to fight Johnson, Woods, Jones etc. The fight vs Hopkins was made, Hopkins pulled out at the last moment, which was a shame. Joe's biggest problem is he has Warren as a promoter saying that all the promoters are the same in this country, the protect fighters far to much, im just glad Hatton got out while he could. As for Joe's record its way better than Kessler's, im just hoping the fight can be made, im sure if it doesn't Joe would surely have to leave Warren because hes becoming a laughing stock defending against fighters like Manfredo, ITV doesn't want to see it, they want fights like Calzaghe Vs Lacy.
