"In boxing terms he's in leagues of his own as far as both greatness and legend, greatness in that he avenged his losses and legend in that he won fights he wasn't supposed to. In humanitarian terms, multiply that by 100 due to his imperishable integrity."

    Michael Watson

"One of the most incredible persons I've ever come across in lifemanship as well as my trade. Inspiration to humanity itself. Worthy of a knighthood."

    Lennox Lewis

"The second greatest heavyweight of all time and a magnanimous man of class and cool."

    Prince Naseem

"Naseem Hamed is a charming bloke who has yet to achieve near his potential in both pugilism and humanity."

    Steve Collins

"Racist and warped and zero talent."

    Barry Hearn

"Free from impurities and avarice. Did everything with charm and a smile. This man cracked his Essex banter, not many negative words I can find to describe this man in any way."

    Mickey Duff

    Frank Warren

    "Warren is a money man."

    Herol Graham

"One of the great chess players and the grandmaster at avoiding a glove."

    Roy Jones Jr

"I don't know my boxing history well enough to place him in the pantheon of greats."

    Pernell Whitaker

"I've only ever seen one person more poetic in a physical sense than the gym fighter Dennis Cruz and that is Whitaker. Pernell was poetry. I'd say I'm probably in the top three, at my most poetically seductive."

    Jack Johnson

"I would like to play the part in his life film."

    Joe Louis

"Brilliant technician in regards to pugilism. But didn't take a stand."

not now. not ever. you have got to be kidding me if you think Wlad has a chance of going down as a top 20 heavyweight

Wlad "on his way up" lost to Ross Purritty and Corrie Sanders!!!!!! And it wasn't a DQ by hitting them after they were on a knee.

Jack... who has a better legacy? Wlad or this guy:

3)Wlad has always fearlessly fought the best opponents available, Jones was notorious for avoiding certain boxers
4)Wlad has been TKOed but never KOed, Jones has
5)Wlad is an intelligent man of good character
6)Wlad is only 31, some of his best wins are likely still to come!

But some people believe because Jones is black and American, he is therefore better than Wlad no matter what the facts are. They believe it is ridiculous to suggest otherwise.
Why does his skin color matter at all? Why do you feel the need to bring it up? You're nothing but a racist continuing to overhype white fighters and put down black fighters...

1.) More KO's does not make you a better fighter. Pernell Whitaker and Pep two of the greatest ever.
2.) Jones was robbed at olympics
3.) Even so RJJ still has the better resume
4.) Yeah but RJJ was shot and out of his prime. Wlad got beat when he was very young and up and coming by Ross Purritty
5.) Cause that has a lot to do with boxing right?
                      6) Possibly.

                      Skin color doesn't matter...
