Ndou wants a rematch

Before this fight i thought, he has no bisuness fighting for another title. I give him alot of credit, he looked excellent tonight. I think alot of it had to do with N'dous approach, his trainers were awfull. Cotto laid out the game plan as to how to beat paulie, and it looked as though N'dou had never seen him fight before. N'dou just followed him the entire fight, never cutting off the ring.

Not trying to cast down Malignaggi's win but I'd love to see a rematch between the two with a different ref just to see what the reaction to this chemical equation would be.

exactly, eddie cotton is the worst, anytime they were even close to each other he kept screaming "stop, stop!" it was bull****. how can you wear your opponent out whenever you get close the action is halted.

I dont see the fight going any differently then this fight!!!

if there was any inside fighting allowed in this fight, ndou would've had a chance to wear mailgnaggi down, but the ref kept breaking them up giving malignaggi the advantage of keeping the fight in his range and it gave him a little breather.



now with that being said, malignaggi fought a good fight, he used his jab, he let his hands go more than usual, he finished strong, which is very important.
i give malignaggi respect for the way he assessed the fight and how professionally he conducted himself, much respect there. i'm not a fan of his, far from it, but he deserves his respect.


had the ref let them fight on the inside, i think the fight would've been different, i think ndou would've been able to get to the body more and been able to fight where he is comfortable, instead of chasing his opponent all fight long and getting pot shotted.


Eddie Cotton is the worst ref, ever......................there isnt much worse than him. he wouldn't even let them throw punches on the inside, neither one, if one was tying up and the other had a hand free, by the rules you are allowed to throw if they're trying to tie you up, not with cotton in the ring. he broke them up unnecessarily about 100 times in that fight. ( at least it seemed like that ) he broke them up more than there were power punches landed in the fight! nobody was there or tuned in to see the ref, we all wanted to see a fight, not the ref break the action in the fight. terrible terrible refereeing job............................terrible.
