    Ndou wants a rematch

    Malignaggi, N'dou speak!

"This was a lifelong dream come true," said newly crowned IBF junior welterweight champion Paul Malignaggi after dethroning former titleholder Lovemore N'Dou by lopsided decision on Saturday night at the Mohegan Sun Resort in Uncasville, Connecticut. "It may have looked easy, but N'dou made me work the whole fight. I said it would be easy, but that was just trash-talk. I knew he'd give me a tough fight. I knew my speed would nullify his punching." When asked what's next, Malignaggi stated "I want Ricky Hatton!" To which promoter Lou DiBella shouted out "Bring on Ricky Hatton! Let's do it at Madison Square Garden."

Ndou, meanwhile, is hoping to get Malignaggi back in the ring against him. "There was a rematch clause in the contract, so I'd like to have a rematch with him," stated the South Africa-born Australian. "He's a good boxer, but the referee let him get away with a lot. Every time we got in close the referee would separate us."

**** It would be the same result lmflyao.

Not trying to cast down Malignaggi's win but I'd love to see a rematch between the two with a different ref just to see what the reaction to this chemical equation would be.

well a different ref could help a bit, but not that much..........I'm sure N'dou wants the rematch for monetary reasons, for which I don't blame him.

I though Ndou was going to become a lawyer. Or did so many punches to the head make him realize that he probably has too much brain-damage to be a lawyer.

            Like Malignaggi even has power.

Actually, I thought Malignaggi had no power. But he did show some power tonight, and I'm not giving him credit as the power on the knockout. But Malignaggi had alot of power in his jabs, we saw Ndou's head fly back alot. He's not a ko-artist, but tonight he showed signs of power. Though Ndou's face wasn't even hurt looking at all. It looked like he had a little more pop in his punches tonight

Malignaggi doesn't have any kayo power unless he fights someone whom has a very weak jaw. A jaw worse than Jones Jr if that be the case but I beleive he makes up for this with his ability to throw excellent combinations and even add a good pop to his punch to get his opponent to respect his punches even if he can't knock him out.

Yeah, he's not koing anyone with his jabs. But enough to respect him. I want to see a rematch between him and cotto.

Hmm, I don't know if Malignaggi could go all 12 against the Cotto that fought Judah but we've seen a good improvement in Malignaggi tonight.
