"I wrote to Big George via his web page Q&A and he sent me back this reply when I
asked him about MMA and how some boxers looked down upon it.. Here is his
response.

"The MMA;

Too bad it did not come along when I was just starting out; it would have been just
the sport for me, as I wanted full contact.

Most of the fights I lost, were because the guys could run.

I think as the Fan base grow, other boxers will learn to except it more as an art. It
really is a Art.

Imagine ali vs foreman under mma rules...It sure woulda been very different.
No rope a dope for Ali...a guy of the size of George would've taken the ****er down and give him a brutal ground and pound session , or simply submit him.

Nah..There's highkicks in mma. HKs are way more powerful than anyone's best punch. It's generally an instant KO , no 8 counts are even needed and sometimes it takes several minutes for the guy to wake up. sometime's hes' even taken out on a stretcher.

So no need to worry about foreman's punching power. opponents have already been tested with more powerful shots. even slams can be more dangerous. (especially if the opponent is spiked on the canvas though that's illegal). Randleman tried it once vs Fedor but Fed did a perfect ukemi right on time. someone else wouldve been koed or maybe paralysed.

He makes a very good pernt...no one he faced would beat him in full contact/limited rules
