Some people may hate me for posting this, but Mayweather would easily beat Duran at 147 or any other weight. I used to go to Hearns fights in Detroit when I lived in Windsor, Ontario and PBF is faster but smaller and not as strong so it is difficult to predict. I think PBF compares in speed and skill to the best of the 80's, but not to the best 1940's boxer Sugar Ray Robinson, who was a truly amazing fighter.

Floyd said in an interview he would have loved to fight Aaron Pryor out of any of the big fighters in the past.

Real: Leonard moved up from pruor in the amatuers when he was in high school...in the pros, Pryor turned pro at 35 and Leonard had developed into a full-blown pro welterweight. They turned pro 12 pounds apart.

The only thing Floyd would be holding in a past era, is some one elses jock strap.

Look, not liking Floyd and not appreciating his talent are two different things. Any era where he could managed the number of times he fought, Floyd would have been hell on Earth between 30-40. 47 he has to be fighting at the right time. Big welters like Walker, Leonard, Rob, even Cokes...Floyd doesn't go to 47 for that unless he really wants to and he loses more often than not. Guys like Walcott, Ross, Fields...those eras had smaller welters and Floyd can tempt it rising from his natural weights. Moving up to face Judah, Baldo and maybe someday Mosley is different. Most of those guys started below 47 and that says a lot about why he is not still at 40. That and 25 mill for Oscar.

Come on, you lie, you know you want to say Floyd will k.O Duran in 5 seconds and still outbox Duran(which is impossible), you know you want to say nobody will ever beat Floyd, you always say that, you know in your mind you believe Floyd will k.O Lennox Lewis in his prime.

I'm not a Mayweather fan, but I have absolutely no doubt that PBF would beat Duran. Styles make fights, Duran was the kind of fighter that Mayweather does well against. Gatti reminds me a lot of Duran.

Floyd would be easily with the top guys in boxing. From 130-140 Floyd can fight in any era and be a top fighter. If your talking about matching him against guys like Leonard & Hearns then it really isnt fair considering they started at WW and finished at LHW. Thats why I always hate when people say that Leonard or Hearns could kill Floyd. Its not a fair comparison at all. Ive always said that Floyd would do much better against those guys at 47 & 54 then they would against other greats at 68 & 75. Thats how you should compare them. If you want to compare them normally then it should be a P4P thing because Floyd may not beat them straight up but he is equally as good if not better then them at 130 then they were at 147 without a doubt.

However, Ive always said that if you do want to compare them straight up then it wasnt fair to judge Floyd before the Oscar fight. I said how can you compare Floyd to those guys at 147 when he's only had 2 fights there and he clearly wasnt a real WW. I said you should wait until his next fight after Oscar because he would probally be close to a full blown WW by then and you could really judge. Thats why I say that I wish Floyd would have 1 more fight right now at WW because I know he wouldve filled in to that weight and look damn near perfect by now since he's been up there for awhile and just fought at 150. I bet he looks way better at WW in his next fight then he did in those first few fights and then you could somewhat compare him to a straight up matchup against Leonard & Hearns.

I love Pryor but he's a little too wild to beat Floyd. He came in with no D at all and chin up. Even Alexis gave him some hell. Floyd would be able to hit him clean all day and no way he hits Floyd non stop like he hits those other guys. I just think he's made for Floyd. He didnt even move side to side or anything. He just came straight the whole fight and never moved his head while throwing wide punches. Floyd would throw so many accurtae straight punches down the pipe
