What belts do you consider to be Undisputed?

For a boxer to become Undisputed in his weight class what belts would he have to own in your eyes.

For me it has to be the Main 4

    WBA,WBC,IBF and WBO.

      1. Beating the linear champ.

      2. Fight between the top two fighters of the division.

At least two of the WBC, WBA and IBF belts and be 'The Ring' champion, actually proving you are the best in your division by beating all potential threats.

BTW, the WBO champs are usually chumps so that belt means nothing. There are exceptions of course [Margarito, Calzaghe] but not having the WBO belt is not really important for an undisputed champion.

Only a couple in boxing right now, to my eyes.

Calzaghe isn't until he beats Kessler, Taylor isn't because Abraham is better and they're not going to fight, Wlad isn't though he's indisputably better than the others, since that doesn'y yet make him 'champ'.

Mayweather at 147 to me right now is undisputed champ

Many would fancy Margarito and Cotto to beat PBF at 147. That division is so competitive an undisputed WW would need to beat those at the top. Floyd's best win at 147, Judah has just been destroyed by you know who. That's why Mayweather retiring is a bad idea. All those great fights out there for him from 140 to 154.

but he can't be because shane mosley is back in the 147 lb div where he belongs and he'd own floyd's ass if they fought, until floyd beats mosley i can't call him undisputed

First of all, if a champ is undisputed, what's all the fighting about?

All jokes aside, Jermain Taylor is the undisputed champ at MW (Abraham is NOT better than Taylor unless he proves it in the ring. And, IMHO, Abraham would be thoroughly schooled by Taylor) and Rafael Marquez is undisputed at S.Bantam. That's just my opinion, tho, as there are no current champs who hold at least three belts other than Taylor.

I don't factor in alphabelts much at all. They are inherently corrupt and their ratings are pay-go. To me, when available, I use lineage as a guage. In the absence of lineage I go with Ring who uses a sort of process of elimination between established fighters. For instance, Rafael Marquez is THE world champ at 122 and he only has 1 belt.
