There's actually a LOT of exciting fighters in the super middleweight division: Calzaghe, Kessler, Froch, Mundine, Lacy, Bute and soon Miranda, and in a year or two Taylor and Pavlik...super middleweight is becoming the most exciting and most talent-laden division in boxing!

I don't think he will ever get a fight against Berrio. Team Sauerland will make him defend/loose that title against one of their stronger smw's.

Inkin would be a more difficult opponent for Bute. Somehow I think he wouldn't have a problem against Berrio, but I may be wrong.

After the first couple of rounds Bute took over and looked great. Good ref. That's the way refs should be - completely unobtrusive and he caught Bika's dirty tactics and punished him immediately. (Randy Neuman is the textbook case of how refs should NOT be). Bika fought dirty - head butts - but he was gracious in defeat. Bute looked very very good.

Yeah Bute seemed to be in a feeling out process in those first four rounds and then looked pretty good from then on. He didn't totally manhandle Bika, but was landing more punches from round 4 on. Bute has good skills and his style is to basically box from the outside. His body build reminds me of Joe C., but he fights a different style. He would have a good shot of winning against anybody except Joe and Mikkel. He's not at their level yet.
