Mosley does deserve more money than Cotto. Mosley should be happy with 60% and Cotto should be happy with 40%. If Cotto wins the only person he should take less of a split with is PBF. I don't care who he fights besides PBF Cotto has to get the lion's share of the money he will be the man next to the man if he beats Mosley.

Mosley is not the one everyone wants to fight. There are other options out there like the winner of Marg and Williams or Cintron. Who thinks Mosley is not a PPV big name

Mosley- Vargas sold more PPV's then Cotto- Judah. Mosley is the bigger name fighter with more big fights. Cotto should just give him a 60-40 split and then they can get it on.

Look guys, I hate Oscar just as much as you but take off your Cotto blinders for a second. Mosley is the higher rated fighter and has done way more then Cotto. Cotto hasnt done anything at 147 except for beat a Zab who hasnt won in 2 years, Urkal, and a Quintana who only got hype for beating a overrated Julio. Meanwhile Shane has 5 great wins in a row including his last 3 of beating Vargas, Knocking Vargas out, and then beating a Callazo who a ton of people had beating Hatton.

Mosley is the highest rated fighter in the division and he has the overall bigger name. You cant deny that the Zab fight was a local fight and thats why it was so big. They still may not have done great PPV numbers. Mosley has fought Winky twice, Oscar twice, Vargas twice, a prime Forrest twice, and Callazo. Those are huge names and he deserves more money. Maybe not alot but more. They'll probally try to fight next year at the PR parade but Shane might be done by then

why diminish what cotto's done @ 147?

the zab fight was a local fight? dude, cotto's made it to a level that the fight was sold-out @ madison due to cotto, and only cotto. trust me that cotto's next fight against margarito will be a sell out, and it wont be because of the influx of mexicans from the west and south.

mosley's old, anyone with a pair of eyes can see that and even though some people might have him still as an elite, one fight w/ cotto and that will all change. you know what, for his last fight, you should give mosley the lions share of the purse, there is no denying what shane's done in the past. look, beating a collazo who fought with as much ambition as i have when i'm BLAZED and have to study and taking out a vargas whos body has been riddled with back problems and whos after affects of steroids have blatantly taken 'nando's best years from him - does not make mosley, now, in my estimation, a viable threat to even think of taking out cotto.

mosley would be a good fight for cotto, but it would be the same thing kinda like when hatton took on kostya late in his career, its unnecessary. somebody better send jin a tape of the cotto fight, she don't want her husband taking that type of punishment.
