Are you insane? Did you read my second post where I said that Floyd is by far the most complete fighter. How can you say that all he does is box? RJ is close but Floyd is better. He's mentally tougher then Floyd, who can adjust better during a fight then Floyd, who has a better D, who has more speed? Lets move to Offense where Floyd is so underrated. There is no fighter out there that has a more complete Offensive arsenal then Floyd. No one. He just doenst get credit for it. He doesnt get credit for his power but he's got some nice pop and like RJ, he had a ton of KO's when he was at his natural lower weight. Who's a more accurate puncher then Floyd? Who's more fundementaly sound then him? He can throw a perfet jab, he goes to the head & body, and he can throw every punch in the book. People just dont think about it much because he doesnt stay offensive all the time like some other guys and some fights he throws more punches then in others but you cant deny that he has it in his game. He also doesnt get nearly enough credit for his fighting skills. How many guys are better at him at in-fighting? Its not all about power. Have you seen Floyd when he's in the pocket? He'll stand right there shoulder to shoulder and will block or slip all your punches and then throw blistering counters with pin point accuracy.
Now lets compare Floyd to RJ. Dont get me wrong, Im a huge RJ fan. He's probally in my top 3 favorite fighters of this era. The speed is similar and the mental part is similar. Ill give RJ a advantage on O just because he is somewhat more Offensive and Ill give Floyd the advantage on D because he is just flat out better. Here is where they seperate. RJ is unorthodox and depends all on his speed & reflexes. Once they went then he was not the same guy at all. That wont happened to Floyd because he is strictly fundemental in everything he does. He's like James Toney. If you have those solid fundementals then you can fight forever and still do well
