    Vitali Klitschko returns 9/22!

    Vitali Klitschko returns 9/22!
Former two-time heavyweight champion Vitali Klitschko will begin his comeback against three-time title challenger Jameel McCline on September 22 in Munich, Germany. For Klitschko (35-2, 34 KOs), it will be his first fight since his December 2004 KO against Danny Williams. Vitali retired in 2005 after a series of injuries. McCline (38-7-3, 23 KOs) is coming off an unsuccessful January WBA title challenge against then-champ Nikolai Valuev that ended in round three when McCline collapsed with a knee injury. Vitali's brother, current IBF champion Wladimir Klitschko, stopped McCline via tenth round TKO in 2002. The WBC has mandated that Vitali, recognized as "champion emeritus," be given an immediate title shot against the winner of the mandatory Oleg Maskaev-Samuel Peter fight.

Vitology is an idiot if he comes back. All roads lead to Wlad and we all know they won't fight.

        Why come back?

Oh I forgot. He'll be the person who picks up the slack once Wlad loses.

I'm far more interested in seeing Vitali against Peter (I think he'll beat Valuev) than I am against McCline. I think it'll be the first time Peter gets knocked down, and the first time he gets KO'd. Both in the same round. Vitali is about 10x more aggressive than his little brother was when he fought Peter. Remember what happened to Johnson? I see a similar ending for Peter.

McCline should last about 4 rounds if Vitali is in good shape.

I would say this would be a good tune up fight but this is just garbage considering Jameel is coming off of a career ending injury...Sounds like Vitaly went cherry picking and found the ripest one in the field for his comeback...A decent name will gain him recognition...People still remember Mccline...Just for the wrong reasons.

hell,,,,for his first fight in 3 years after a bad injury I think he should have picked an even worse opponent just to knock some rust off. mccline is a huge man with a pretty good jab and has only been knocked out once by wlad. this is a lot more dangerous a fight than most think considering all that inactivity
