I think he'd be able to beat one of those Europeans for some obscure title, but not a major title. Since the question was would he be able to win another title before he retires I voted yes, that doesn't mean he'll be winning the WBC, IBF, or WBA.. Nothing is impossible though..

That's even less likely than him winning another title. He's an underachiever that was probably never as good as his knockout of Lennox Lewis suggested.

edit: I apologize if the above statement is mean.

It's not mean, he couldn't even go all 12 rounds against the elites, he was always ko'd/tko'd by them. He almost made it out alive in the oleg fight, but his ****ty stamina showed up again.

If Rahman want another title he needs to get in the best shape of his life like he was in the 1st Lennox fight until then i see him screwed against Wlad i dont even wanna get started might get a sneaky win against Sultan if Ruslan beat a tree he could defintly beat Hasim until then no Hasim will not get another title think about him as another Buster Douglas

I think we need to keep in mind that Rahman looked horrible tonight because he basically chose to look horrible. His condition was OBVIOUSLY why he ******. An in shape Rahman takes Sykes out in three, everyone knows that. That is what was so disgusting and insulting by that performance. It was a slap in the face to the entire sport.

But yes, to answer the poll question, Rahman is perfectly capable of winning another title if he were to dedicate himself to it. In fact, a 230 lb Rahman on his game is favored over Ibragimov and Chagaev. He is also obviously better than Maskaev, which seems strange to say because Maskaev has violently KO'd him twice, but if you've seen the fights you know what I mean. A dedicated Rahman would only be expected to lose to Wlad.

Yet, with that said, we'll never see a dedicated Rahman. He'll never get in shape. He'll never consistently throw his should be dominant jab. He will remain Hasim Rahman, and if he does win another title (which is completely possible even minus dedication, so as long as he is closer to in shape anyway), he'll lose it as soon as he wins it. He is Hasim Rahman for better or worse, and he will be for as long as he fights.

But Rahman came in great shape vs Holyfield, vs Lewis II, vs Oleg...

                    and still lost...

regardless of how good of shape he is in..he's just inconsistent...

remember, it isn't like he once showed flashes of greatness or brilliance vs the elite...he landed one big right hand vs an out of shape, tired and unfocused Lewis....

ever since then he has been mediorcre...Tua, Ruiz, Sykes, Holyfield, Toney, Barrett,

in fact the best he has looked in recent years was against Meehan of all people...that's not saying much
