Can Hasim Rahman ever win another title?

Hasim Rahman fights tonight against Taurus Sykes. His opponent has lost to Owen Beck, Samuel Peter and Derek Bryant, so if he's at his best, Hasim should win. A win will put him back into contention for a title shot - I've read that Ruslan Chagaev is considering him for a first title defense, and there were rumors of him being lined up for a fight this fall with Wladimir Klitschko. Do you think the hard-punching Rahman can win another title?

Yes, he will probably win another title before he retires.

No, his best days are behind him, he's no longer a real contender.

If rahman can find some of his form again, he would waste most of these bum heavyweight champs, yeah im going to say before he retires he will win one more. that one punch knock out he has is what he needs to find.

if he can stop falling out of the ring he might have a chance

the man has no conditioning. He should give up whilst he has his faculties.

No chance. I hate to say it, but he's a slow and dumb fighter. And me2007 said it right. He has no conditioning.

I hear he weighed in at 261 lb for tonight's fight, the heaviest he's ever been.

I guess it would be fair to say that a heavy-hitter always has a punchers chance, but at this point in his career he is more of just an opponent with a big name ($) than he is a true contender.

He has nothing to be ashamed of, however, as he is a two time champion.

he's done and he's not as heavy a hitter as some of you think.... the lewis KO is his only one punch KO of any significance... everyone knows oleg cant take a punch and rahman couldnt KO him in 2 fights... rock hasnt won a major fight since the lewis KO and that was many years ago.... he couldnt beat ruiz or an old holyfield either...

His only problem is conditioning, but as we all know that's a huge problem. He was winning the first half of the Maskaev fight with his jab. But then he got tired and basically fell out on his feet. He wasn't really hurt in that fight he was just extremely tired and got KO'ed.

He is reportedly in his worst shape ever for tonight's fight, so there is a real possibility of an upset. If he loses to Sykes, he will be finished as a contender.
