i think its funny how everybody is saying, the old world champ merce will this and that, he is old, he is out of shape and not even the half the fighter he was MANY years ago.. he WAS a monster, but years of fighting and several years in retirement does indeed take its toll on the system.

personally i think mercer was picked as an easy target, he is a very well known fighter, and therefore kimbo´s meal-ticket to fame..

i remember his k-1 fight, 1 and only 1 ****ing high kick and he was not having it anymore.. to me he doesnt seem as a man willing to dig deep anymore..

kimbo beats mercer because mercer is way to old, he conditioning is below what is necessary.. and this isnt what mercer is used to, put on the gloves and would bet on mercer, but in a mma fight kimbo is the better man

You do realize Kimbo is not known for his ground game. He made damn sure that no grappling, standing or on the ground, was allowed in the Gannon fight. I would bet on Mercer, assuming this is on the up-and-up.

personally i enjoy boxing hell of a lot more than mma, if i want to se a couple of brutal ko´s sure, i can watch mma or k-1, but nothing compares to boxing..

so therefor i agree, it would not just be kimbo´s manly lovers going bananas its going to be the whole entire mma community.. it will be awful.!!

i realise that, however Kimbo is bigger, younger and stronger than Mercer. I dont see how Mercer can avoid being taken down if Kimbo rushes him. Mercer isn`t exactly fleet of foot.

Actually, most of the mma community looks at Kimbo as a freak show. Here is a guy who has been hyped up for like over 2 years and all we have seen is a backyard fight and him looking horrible against Gannon(who is not considered anywhere near an A-level mma fighter).
