I saw Israel Vasquez quit after having his nose broken in a recent fight. I am not saying he is good but at least that night he proved he was tough. And getting beaten by Cotto doesn't really say that you suck...he is one of the best fighters at 147 or below.
    Paulette is a punk.

He said he would expose Miguel Cotto.

He had no idea who Miguel really was. He had only been to one of Miguels fights and that was when Miguel faught Bronco and Malif@ggi was there as an interpreter in Bronco's croner during the in between rounds.

He though Cotto was slow and one dimmensional and said Cotto would never catch him etc..etc.

He made a huge mistake. I told any one who would listen that Paulie was way in over his head.

Pualie only survived because Cotto broke his hand.

It's not that hard to figure that if Cotto had not broken his hand, he would have knocked Malif@ggi out or the fight would have been stopped by someone either the corner, the ref or maybe Mali don't get up from his stool.

You don't have to be an expert to understand this.

From now on, any one who get's destroyed by Miguel will become famous.

Do you want to become famous?

    Call out Cotto.

Malignaggi actually had some moments vs cotto where he stood and fought. He took his beating like a man, and made no exuses. That, in itself, deserves our respect.

He might not win a rematch, but hell, he tried.

If a guy says he is going to lose before a fight then you just showed me a loser. Of course he said he was going to beat Cotto before the fight and he probably believed it too. If he didn't he had no business fighting. I didn't think he could win but that shouldn't shake his self-belief. And frankly Cotto even with a broken hand punished the **** out of him and he DID NOT QUIT. You got to respect that. I respect Judah for taking the punishment for 10 rounds.

I had to respect the fact that he was able to hold back his tears when he was being interviewed.

Tons of heart. Good skills and speed but no power to compete with the elites. Reminds me of one of the growing up gatti boys.

exactly, because he is far from exciting.

i like to call maliganggi's style the ass out style, because whenever his opponent gets close from coming forward (malignaggi is always backing up) he bends over as far as he can at the waist and scoots backwards letting his ass lead the way.
                  completely avoiding any real trading.

if mailganggi would stand and trade about 30% of the time, he might be an exciting fighter, but due to his lack of power that aint going to happen. he has to be a track star in the ring in order to keep from getting KO'd, because his punch isnt keeping anyone off him....................

i will give him credit, he is a good defensive boxer, and he can take a punch, and he did go the distance with cotto. and going to distance with cotto is a big thing especially if you have no power in your punches. other than that he's a loud mouth guido with feather fists who likes to run track inside the ring because he has no power. AND extremely brittle hands..............

he gave cotto a fight and was a full out warrior. Paulie will continue to improve.

Since when do you need power to compete? And he didnt get killed by Cotto it was one of Cotto's closest fights. I had it 8-4 or 7-5, I cant remember.
