You can't blame a boxer for the era he was born in. PBF is really just that much better than the people of his era. He is getting the same treatment Larry Holmes got. Where people critize him because of level of fighters around him. Everybody yall say PBF should fight and he winds up actually fighting them he makes them look bad then all of sudden that person wasn't that good to begin with. Thats bull**** the dude is really that much better than these people. Real talk Cotto, Hatton, Margarito back in Hearns, Duran and Sugar Ray Leonard's days wouldn't even mentions as opponents for them, they wouldn't even be ranked in the top 10 if the division and deep down yall know this. For that era I AM NOT SAY PBF WOULD BE RANKED #1 BUT HE WOULD BE IN THE TOP 3-5.
damn you started well but you lost me in your last few sentences...

THANK YOU. Jeez, just saying PBF around here starts an argument, you know?

I wasn't terribly impressed by vs corrales, he looked weak (low stamina) at that weight and PBF really didn't need much skill to beat on him at will. Corrales was a punching bag there. The best corrales did was every once in a while throw a counter shot, just to remind PBF to not do anything ******.

I haven't seen the other two though. I'll check 'em out, thanks.

I completely agree with you. I say Floyd should be remembered as a great fighter, but not in the top ten. He has to do alot more to get that honor. The reason why Floyd frustrates is that he doesn't act like an all time great. My definition of a great fighter is one who goes after challenges. By saying that I mean going after the toughest opponents and beating them. Given the fact that he left before fighing any other of the top welterweights just bothers me. Fighters like Ali, Marciano, Robinson, etc etc fought with passion, heart, and courage. Floyd has hardly used any of these. What really pissed me off about him was calling out Felix Trinidad. He said he wanted to fight him only because he will be "easy work." What kind of all time great says crap like that. Another thing is that he talked crap how he could beat Hatton and Margarito easily. What happened when both of them called him out? He turned it down and fought Carlos Baldomir, someone he knew would be "easy work." All you floyd fans can say what you want but I think he's a coward. Reason why i say that is because when he was at the lower weight classes he took on all comers cause he knew that he would be dominant in those classes. How come all of a sudden when he moves up to welterweight he starts to carefully pick his opponents. Reason being is because he knew that he was in a tough division and didn't want to lose. Thats some coward **** to me. Being a boxer is about being a warrior, not worrying about getting your face scratched or losing. If you guys disagree then tell me why he turn those fights with Hatton and Margarito down and picked slow ass Baldomir.

I don't hate floyd at all. I think he is a good fighter. It just frustrates me that he didn't take alot of challenging fights before he retired. Alot of past fighters have fought the best in their divisions before retiring. In doing doing so they fought everyone they needed to fight without the accusation of ducking anyone.
