I hope he stays retired, so boxing can properly heal from the damage he's done the last few years.
    I agree.

We have to like Floyd because his nut hugging fans say we do.
    LOL
Floyd's fans are the worst nug huggers I have ever and I do mean ever encountered.
    They are sad breed.

The only damage he has done is to the faces of all his fighters, who he has beat

Mayweather has really done some damage to boxing. Before him MMA and the UFC **** wan't even mainstream. Now MMA and UFC are catching up fast in terms of fanbase and appeal. Tysonisgod, Floyd didn't do **** to Oscar, Floyd looked a little ****ed up himself and when he got fouled twice by Judah I couldn't stop laughing.

Not true. The baldomir and DLH PPVs left many fans hugely disappointed, and will hurt the potential of future PPV buys. When entire stadiums can't stand what's going on in the ring, and it's supposedly the 'Biggest fight of the decade' it causes problems with boxing. Problems that stem directly from Mr mayweather.

I'm not saying he should TRY to be more entertaining. Just, for the love of boxing, stay away. I'll say whatever nice things about him he wants to hear as long as he promises to never come back and hurt boxing with his crappy PPVs.

I have to agree, Floyd is a big name but he's not an exiting fighter to watch. I would much rather watch Cotto-Berto than Mosley-Mayweather.

              I'd rather watch paint drying.

If you're talking to me, none of the above. Mayweather's style bores the **** out of me, and I'd quite literally rather watch paint dry. Yeah, he's quick, in great shape, ring smart, yadda, yadda, yadda. He's BORING. If he'd engage a little, and show off that speed and amazing inside defense more often he'd be worth watching, but the way he's fought in his last several fights just shows he has no desire to win a fight in a decisive manner, and I just don't want to watch him anymore. He says he's retired, I'm happy with that, good riddance.

Oh my bad, I thought you'd rather watch paint dry than a Cotto fight. I agree, the only fight I enjoyed of his was the one against Castillo just because he got his ass kicked. There are much more exiting fights to be made in the welterweight division, Floyd isn't needed.
