The more you think about Shane in the ring with Winky, in the ring with Forrest, etc...the more you'll realize he's not the superhero some people here make him out to be. Sure, those guys are polar opposites stylewise to Cotto, but the kid is definitely not bulletproof.

Judah had a fighting chance, a punchers chance...Shane has...umm...nothing really. MAYBE hope to outbox him all night and pray that Cotto is just tired and won't be the freight train for the full 12 rounds he usually is?
    Yeah in short.

Cotto isn't a 6'0 jabber who uses his size and reach like Forrest and Wink.

Mosley has the size, speed, power, chin, experience name it advantage.

Sure he's not. But that makes this affair exciting.

Didn't we hear the same of Judah? Didn't he have all of those advantages too? Judah had a fighting chance because of his pride, Mosley won't fold under the pressure because he's too grown for that, but he'll be getting on the Schwinn around the 8th...

If he tries to go toe to toe, he's out early, we both know that.

Zab isn't a 6'0 tall jabber who uses technical ability to win fights.

Wait a minute? Did you state that if they go toe to toe Mosley is out? In fact I think it's the opposite way around.

I don't think Cotto has a punch in his arsenal that can even phase Mosley. Oscar didn't, Vargas didn't...........Cotto doesn't.

Maybe a China Chinned Judah or Unknowns....but not Shane.

I don't remember Oscar or Vargas BEATING down there opponents. I don't mean knocking them down or out with a punch right on the chin or a punch they didnt see, I mean just a constant battering from the starting bell, to the point where their opponents just give up or the ref saves them.

Last I remember is Oscar doing that to JCC, and well, he was ripe for the taking, that's no mystery. Cotto humiliates everyone from young up and comers to brash veterans. Come one come all.

I'm pretty sure Cotto wouldn't get full credit for beating Shane either. He didn't for Judah. There will always be an excuse. We haven't seen anything significant from Shane in how long? Who knows what type of fighter we'll see in the ring?

All I can compare it to is the last few Shanes I've seen, and Cotto destroys them.

            There lies the problem

You're comparing Zab Judah to Shane Mosley. End of story.

Judah = mediocre at best hyped fighter.

Mosely = Proven Superstar who's accomplished 10x Judah.

I like Mosley and I'd like to see him fight one of the top guys out there, but I don't think anyone will be willing to fight him.

Oh, I think Shane summed up Floyd in that interview, but I guess you don't have to be a shrink to work out young Floyd's issues.

You guys can't compare the Judah fight and hype to Mosley. Mosley is both the better fighter and far more accomplished than Judah. Mosley will fight through adversity, while Judah will stop trying to win and go into survival mode. Judah has done this not only against Cotto, but Mayweather and Baldomir.

I JUST watched Cotto/Judah by the way Borikua. It seems that our boy has blossomed. I don't think his "weak chin" will be an issue in any of his upcoming fights. Judah all but teed off on his head on a couple of occasions, landing blistering left uppercuts followed by right hooks and Cotto just ate it. I haven't seen anyone that relentless since Aaron Pryor demolished Alexis Arguello.
Yes sir, this will be a great year for Cotto...Hopefully he collects another WW belt by the end of the year.
