Judahs not improving his stamina, somethings wrong with his genetics. He has bad stamina in his genes, I know he must train hard as hell to improve his stamina but everyones genetics have their limits.

I like this thread because I was having some thoughts about this during the fight, particularly late in the fight. I know several people have mentioned that they think Yoel gave Zab the right advice, but that Zab "just didn't listen."

That may or may not be true, but it needs to be mentioned that HOW a trainer gives instructions is extremely important. I couldn't help but think that someone like Freddy Roach might be a better trainer for Zab.

It's so easy to sit here and say Zab should have have thrown more punches to keep Cotto off of him, but if he was having doubts, or feeling insecure for any reason, maybe someone with a more gentle speaking style like Roach would benifit Zab and his personality.

I wont make excuses for all of Zab's past behavior, but it seems possible to me that based on the fact that Yoel is such an exciteable guy that often seems on the verge of doing something crazy, that Zab learned that attitude from somebody. Like father like son?

[Hey homeboy, send Zab an email bout what u just said....it'll save his career. Honestly I think Manny might wanna pick him up cause he was like all zab has to do is shoot that left up the middle, "i don't know why he's nbot doing it" Yoel kept saying you got to rumble with this guy and I think manny had to think "what the ****"

Emanuel Steward would really work because he's dealt with Judah's type before(Prince Naz).

Mr. Anthrax, you make a great point. Honestly, it's not what you say, it's how you say it. However, I do not believe that what was said was beneficial. I mean, fighters know they need to throw punches. Telling him to throw more punches, was a waste of time IMO.

I think Manny or Roache would be great for him. In all honesty, I do agree that Zab has shown major loss of stamina in the latter rounds of a lot of his fights, but I think improvement has been made. I definitely do not think Zab is too old to get in better shape and start using some new tactics. He is only 29, and you have fighters like Hopkins out here doing it. I highly doubt a 29 year old is too old or too stubborn to make some changes.

Zab has oviously made some changes. I am not sure what it was he wanted to "do" when his father stopped him in the beginning of the fight, but proof of his changes are there. I remember when he fought Kosta (sp?). He thought he had him and was getting too excited. He came back to his corner relaxed and his Dad told him you do not have him yet, keep going. Zab did just the opposite of that and got KO. My point, he was obviously not too old to start listening because whatever it was he wanted to do, he did not do. I think that shows growth, which is always possible.

Manny seems to respect Zab a lot as well. He mentioned having regained a lot of respect for Judah after the fight with Cotto. Judah's temperment was even better because I could easily see a Judah from the past throwing a few low ones himself, but the chickens must come home to roost.

I say 100% responsible...They should have called the cops after the first round. I guess they don't wanna "snitch." Holla.

Judah got assaulted, he should sue Cotto for mental anguish.
