Hatton is at the limit of his potential. I dont think he's great...he's good though..

hatton seems motivated and if it's the case that he is still hungry then i know he will put in a tremendous effort. he he loses then i'm sure he will get slated no matter how much heart he puts into it. with their style i know that it will be a war and some knock downs for sure.

If Castillo can keep the right distance which is about a foot then this fight is going to be the fight of the year, if Hatton penetrates that foot distance then we have more of a grapple fest on our hands.

Castillo might have been better off not saying he will knock Hatton out. That might make Hatton want to do some damage on Castillo.

Just listened to an interview with Ricky where he said these past couple of months in training have been his best yet even better then the Tszyu preperation. He also said he's fully motivated and is 100% confident of beating Castillo. Ricky has also said he could make 140 lbs tomorrow.

I just listened to a couple of interviews from both Castillo and Hatton...here is some of the highlights.


CASTILLO- "I think I may be coming into this fight with a possible broken rib not too mention my power in training camp has just not been there, some of these sparring partners are just walking right thru me, hopefully somethign will change when I step in the ring"

HATTON- "I think it is fare to say my skills are eroding, my last couple fights I have really been slow and heck I was almost stopped against Luis Collazo and he didnt even punch that hard. I dont no how Im going to stay away from the left hook of Castillo's, it would have been nice to get a sparring partner in my camp who can actually throw a left hook, all Ive seen are southpaws"


Both fighters were incredibly candid in these "tell all" interviews.

When they were asked to predict a winner they both said the same thing...
