Oscar Should Fight Cotto If Floyd Won't

If Oscar is anything, he's a great finisher once he gets a guy hurt.

At some stage he staggers Cotto and gets the ref to stop the fight after a flurry.

Agreed. Cotto doesnt even really need to be in serious trouble. He looks BAD when he gets staggered, and Oscar would take full advantage of that and get an early TKO, even though Cotto wouldnt be seriously hurt.

I think its so funny that so many Cotto fans think he can beat Oscar and I think its even funnier that they think Cotto will just walk Oscar down and punich him like he is a little boy. Do you guys understand how big and strong Oscar is? Cotto has never fought anyone like him. You guys are ****** if you think those punches will have the same effect on Oscar at 154 as it did on these other little guys Cotto has fought. Its not the same thing at all. Cotto has also never felt any kind of power like Oscar brings in that hook.

I like this fight because it would be legitimately competitive. Plenty of trading, no quit in either man, late ref stoppage or SD would most likely be the result. A win is a huge plus for either fighter's legacy, so it's great for boxing.

I only mentioned the money incentives to open because for some reason this is the only thing that gets the Boxing authorities to pay attention.

Floyd fought Oscar at 148 and Cotto walks around heavy anyways. I could see him at 154 for DLH. He's a disciplined guy, it wouldn't be a problem.

No way Oscar thinks that Cotto would even come close to him in a war. Cotto pretty much only has one way to fight and I think Oscar can even do that better then Cotto due to his handspeed, size, Defense, and his own power. I think Oscar would have no fear of coming right at Cotto and I think Oscar thinks he would wreck him just like he did Vargas and Mayorga.

Are all of you guys forgetting that. Cotto is not ruffer then Mayorga or Vargas was at that time and Oscar KO them. He will do the same to Cotto and wouldnt get hurt at all in the process

Yo i hope to god this fight happen **** all the other discussed fight this would be great... i could see oscar by knockout early and easy.... or i could see oscar quiting on his stool late if cotto could survive if Oscar isn't b.s.ing around he will throw a 10mil offer to cotto and make this **** happen... if some way cotto could win pbf out of retirement super mega fight again.. oh boy that would be the greatest eva
