I thought he actually did perform well... He still needs work before he faces top competition... But, I think he will be one of the top guys in his weight class in and for the years to come...

Obviously he isnt ready to take on the absolute best at 147 I think anyone can see that. Even he can see that. As for him asking for Oscar, the question was if he wanted to fight Oscar and he said hed love it but he knows he isnt ready for him yet maybe 2 years down the road he said.

Also what i didnt like in this last fight was he was a little immature which made him sort of reckless.

So this kid will break hes dad record of 108 and stili will be fighting BUMS.

Cause he had no amateur career.

Who need an amateur career when your father name can buy any profesional fight or even get a draw when you clearly lose one.

JCC JR is a ****ing BUM waiting to be exposed.

          The end.

I'm still not sold on the kid, he shows potential but he is fighting guys that that obviously makes his record very deceiving. I saw the Molina fight and JCC jr lost and then they fought again and it was a draw in my opinion. Let's see him fight Andre Berto , then will see if he is legit or not. ****, i'll even accept old ass Sharmba Mitchell.

              please not sharmba mitchell...

guy is a decent fighter and measuring stick, but chavez needs someone who can deal with his height.. mitchell cannot do that, so i dont think hed be proving much there either

also, more importantly imo, id like to see what chavez looks like when he actually has to make the proper weight... he looks good coming into welterweight fights at 151 pounds but what will losing that last 4 pounds do to him when he gets in there with an experienced veterean who is strong at the weight?

I agree with this post 100%. I couldn't believe he fought after Soto. The fights are over before they begin. He must have to feel like a hype job by now, himself. I feel sorry for him. He'll be in a world of **** against an Elite fighter. I hope I'm wrong for his sake.

i like the kid, he shows a lot of potential. he has no ameteur carrerr and he's fighting bums, well he would be fighting bums in the ameteur ranks too, am i correct? i think he'll be one of the greats one day, but not now, he has a lot more fights to get him ready. he is going to fight gatti next? i think that's a big mistake, he's still not ready for that yet. i've herd a lot of people say he's all hype, well i don't think he is, i think the media is hyping him up too much in which he says he hates, it's not the kids fault if the media does that. in 3 more years he'll be one of the greats, or one of the worst.

If he is planning to step any time soon i'll accept Oktay Urkal or even Cosme Rivera. Nothing against the guy personally, but he should not be the co -main event until he beats a legit guy.

he didnt look to have too good of defense in his last fight.
looks like a big naturally strong welterweight and his punches seem to hurt his opponents, however, is it just me or does it look like he isnt throwing them hard, or they 'have no pop' he kinda just looks like hes touching the other guy.
also has a mostly nonexistent jab
