    thoughts about chavez jr...

    i think his win was impressive however;
    he needs to work in the gym on his defensive game,
    I believe he is not ready yet maybe in the welterweight he'll
    survive due to his height advantage, but he has a long road ahead of him,
    before he can compete with top p4p fighters @ the welterweight division....

    He is not ready because he did not have much of an amateur career. If he is going to be brought up like his father he needs at least 15 more fights where we realistically look at him as a top 5-10 guy.

      No offense to Chavez Jr. but I wish I didn't have to endure his fights on PPV's. I dont want to pay to see some kid get his amateur experience. Give that spot to someone more deserving and to a fight more evenly matched.

        Yeah his defense was very rusty and undependable, if he tried that against someone like Mosley it'd be over by Round 1, 2 at most.

          He has the genes and abilitly to be good, but like you guys said he does have holes and once he steps in there against a world class boxer still in his prime, it won't be good. And Left3body your right I would much rather see somebody else in that PPV slot.

              You have to understand Bob's a genious he puts him on allot of the PPV's because the Mexican people will buy the PPV just to see him fight and we all know that the Mexican people support their boxers.

                I think he will be good. He looked so relaxed in the ring.

                  JCC JR is just pure Hype created by the media.. This kid have 33 fights already and he hasn't fight nobody.

                  Some may say.. ohh he has no amateur career thats why .

                  So this kid will break hes dad record of 108 and stili will be fighting BUMS.

                  Cause he had no amateur career.

                  Who need an amateur career when your father name can buy any profesional fight or even get a draw when you clearly lose one.

                  JCC JR is a ****ing BUM waiting to be exposed.

                  The end.
