We'll have to wait and see how Thompson, Chambers, Witherspoon, etc do. I think saying Brock is the best is being generous to him, I don't think he is.
lol,,,,I cant believe there's people that actually think holyfield at 44 can beat any of the champs with briggs out of the picture. toney and donald showed he;s damaged goods and wins over tailor made class c opponents at best prove nothing. put him in with a guy with a pulse and it gets ugly all over again

tony thompson would outbox brewster easily

he would also easily beat chambers based on his size alone

he would be brock also imo

      i vote for thompson

I think Brewster would KO Thompson. Brock vs. Thompson would be a good, close fight but I think Brock would prevail.

I would go along with Brock for the moment, i think he has good all round skills but he just got his chance against the best champ out there.Im not to sure that he would beat the other 3 champs but they would be close calls, i would think that he definately beats Oleg if they were ever matched.

Oleg would take Brock in to deep waters and drown him, i just dont see Brock as anything big

brewster couldnt knock out kali meehan, who was stopped in 1 round by danny williams.... beaten clearly by clifford etienne who has a glass jaw.. same goes for charles shufford (ko'd by git time mcclines pillow shots)...

brewster is an exciting fighter witha big heart, but very overrated and living solely off his victory over wladamir.

i dont have any doubt that he could knock out thompson, but if they fought 10 times i think he could pull off the KO 3 times... otherwise hed be horribly outboxed and lucky to win more than 2 rounds.

as far as brock goes... a year ago brock wins... but today thompson wins.

                why?

brock has been KO'ed viciously, while thompson has strung together several fairly impressive performances while also coming into the ring in better and better shape..he ws 261 pounds in late 2004... 238 and 240 in his past two fight....

brock on the other hand was 224.5 when he lost to klitschko and proceeded to come into his fight on the briggs card at a sloppy 236.5 pounds...

people were critical of thompsons performance over ibragimov, but he beat him more handily than brock and had him hurt several times in the later rounds... and he was wearing basketball shoes he borrowed from someone before the fight when he realized he had forgotten his boxing shoes.

id bet good money on thompson over either guy

Those are good points you've made. He should decisively defeat Krasniqi, who has never impressed me. If he wins, he'll have a title shot - Thompson vs. Ibragimov would be an interesting fight. Sultan's used to fighting big guys by now, and he will test Thompson's chin with some hard lefts.

yeah thatd be a nice matchup, sultan is used to the big guys but has he ever fought another left hander?

thats one of the main reasons i like thompson, at 6'6 with a southpaw stance he has a unique skill set at heavyeight that will be difficult for anyone to prepare for... no matter who he gets in there with them its gonna take them a couple round to get comfortable

also, i saw you mentioned his age, but he is a young 35 in boxing terms.. hes never really been beaten up and he didnt even start boxing until he was 26 if i recall correctly... id say that he has as many good fights left in him as the 30-32 year old guys

Thompson hasn't lost a fight in seven years. Sultan will have a difficult fight against the 6'6'' southpaw...
