He's not loved (or known) outside of Manchester

He's known and loved by lots of people outside of Manchester, including myself and other boxing fans here in Canada! He is criticized a lot in North America, and that's partly because many over here dislike English people. I don't know if he's criticised in Britain or not, I imagine he would be hated in Scotland for being English. But English boxing fans not from Manchester with whom I've spoken seem to like him.
