Nice....but forgive me for playing devils advocate.

Could it be that the above article could be said about every fighter who has taken a beating like a fighter should?
But in the case of Jab, because of his infamous tantraums and ****** behaviour, he gets a pat on the head for not losing his cool, and getting TKO'd without throwing stolls around.

He took a couple of low blows, was cut and took some real punishment, but stopped his 'thug'-self from coming out. Well done Jab.

The way zab faught he would have beaten alot of the top champs possibly even weather. I'm going as far to say he would have beaten mayweather with last night performance. with that said Cotto would have beaten anyone last night as well. They both came in for a war, a fight and most important they both came in for respect-----They both earned everything they will now get in the future..

Thank you very much, I meant every word I said, not just for Zab on this thread but also the props I gave Cotto on other threads after the fight...

Well Good God congratualtions for giving Cotto his props, but cong**** to all Zab fans for giving Cotto his props, because God knows if Zab had been beaten by the one dimensional fraud alot of Zab fans were saying Cotto was before the fight then that would mean your boy got beat by that one dimensional fraud last night.

Seriously though, I cant say any of your specific posts about this fight have stood out to me, so forgive me if I dont know which category you fall into.

Big props to the Zab fans who before the fight acknowledged that both guys were great fighters and the fight would be good, but Zab would be the victor because (List your reasons here). And are now giving Cotto his respect.

But for those of you who were bashing the hell out of Cotto before the fight calling him all sorts of ****, and ripping on his supporters when they questioned you, acting like he was going to get ran over. Save any "new found respect" you have from Cotto , because he and his fans dont want it.

Honestly soundtraveler I dont know where you stood pre-fight and I appologize for encroaching on your thread, but this seemed as good of a place as any to divide up these two groups of "fans".

Zab showed heart. I knew he had one but he lost I think it was the wrong fight for him being one year off. Still he could have won it by TKO early on. But he had too much ring rust and ball-wear to go the 12. He wasnt throwing and see such a talent being destroyed by a fighter he could easly have TKOed had he thrown more is kinda of sad. Worse than that is hearing Judah. He is clearly in denial

I never once talked down about Cotto before the fight, and still I read some posts on some of mine as well as other fight fans' threads and again I wonder if the forum is full of 10 year old punk kids sneaking online via their mommys' computer.

I try to show respect to all posters as long as they show me the same when posting something pertaining to me. I don't have to talk ****, I am a man, not a boy, I am who I say I am, and I do exactly what I say I will do.

I have hooked people from this website up with tickets to big fights, even personaly gotten credentials for Boxingscene writers and photographers. I have personaly introduced World Champions to fight fans from this forum, but I am letting everyone know right now, if you can't post something towards me and show me the same respect I give to you, then don't post on my threads at all - it's that plain and simple.

During the fight I gave Cotto props, after the fight I gave Cotto props, and even after talking to some very "high up people" from the camps of the two warriors involved in last nights' war, and finding out that the second low blow was indeed intentional, regardless of what any of you think, I still give Cotto props for bringing his best to the ring....

Instead of the cheers from adoring fans, he will be left with a silent walk back to the dressing room, everyone will be too afraid to say the wrong thing to him, he will quietly get dressed and someone will take him to the hospital to get his eye stitched up, as will his opponant. Perhaps the two warriors will be in the same emergency room getting sewn up, and both will carry the battle scars from the fight for the rest of their lives. They are forever joined together - blood brothers now, one, gets the adoration, one, gets the jeers, but now and forever both men will look back and remember the other with a mutual respect that only true warriors know.

On this night my friend Zab Judah won, oh, he lost the fight - true enough, but he won the "big" one. He won the respect of the naysayers, the people who said he wouldn't last 3 rounds with the Champion. Those who said he has never had the heart of a Champion. (even though he has been the Undisputed Champion already, and a 2 Time Champion at that) The critics who said he could never keep his head together. Those armchair boxing
know-it-alls who have never put on the gloves, never even been to a boxing gym, some of them have never even been to a fight or in a fight for that matter - Zab beat them too.

You see, my friend Zab Judah showed the entire world that he is a fighter, not just a flashy boxer, not just a speed demon, he showed the world that he is a proud modern day gladiator - the kind that goes out on his shield - the kind of fighter that can be away from the arena for an entire year and still be able to step into the ring with the Champion and not only hold his own, he could still buckle the knees of the Champion with a single shot.

Put my friend Zabs' performance into perspective - could a track star take a year off and then go straight into the the Olympics and be able to hold his or her own?

How about a pro football team, could they take the entire year off and then hold their own against the defending Superbowl Champions - in the Superbowl at that!?

Zab Judah won the respect of the people that matter most - his fellow warriors, and more than that - he proved to himself that he is now the fighter he always wanted to be in his own heart...

I am VERY PROUD of you Zab.

                    Good stuff, ST.

Both guys put a major hurting on each other.

Both guys gave themselves to the contest.

I am in no way denying that I predicted a Judah win and was way off in the outcome.

That is to say, of course that if Zab would have finished Cotto in the 1st or 3rd Rounds when he had him hurt - and YES Cotto was definately hurt, then you would be correct. -- Well sort of --

I would not have written this, because he still would not have shown the kind of heart he has, and would not have answered the questions about his chin, and he would not have had to keep his cool after getting 2 shots two the balls. (the second was on purpose) He would not have had to fight on with what amounts to 1 eye, so much would have been different. And that of course would have included this thread....
