Zab could have won easily if he was more active.

The thing is Zab wasn't more active because he didn't know how to be. He only knows how to capitalize on mistakes but not create mistakes for him to capitalize on. And so he couldnt be active because cotto who did make mistakes didnt make enough of them for zab to capitalize on them and keep cotto off him.

Also out of all the fighters named in the topic post, Clottey is easily the most dangerous for any fighter in the welterweight division. This "even clottey" is downright disrespectful. Clottey is a beast.

Like I said all along, Zab has a lot of talent but lacks heart, balls, cojones. He showed a little last night but he still got out willed when it shouldn't even come down to that. All he needed was 3 rounds of out punching Cotto and he could have stopped Cotto. Biggest waste of skills all time!

How can you guys just keep saying, " oh if Judah could have done this, if Judah could have done that". Based on the last 3 fights he faded late or just stop being active after he gets hurt by one punch. FACE IT, thats just the way Judah fights. Nothing he could have changed it, that is what he is as a fighter so please stop the nonsense

It is and has been tiresome to listen to more about 'his skills'. Eventually 'skills' is a meaningless abstraction. Judah just is what he is, a decent fighter with some terrific attributes but not enough to beat the best out there.

But give these kids a day or two to get over the fact.

Exactly...............you have to look at the complete fighter and how he faces adversity. Just like Freitas, hes a good puncher, can go 12 rounds, but he is the type of fighter that quits under pressure

Zab wasn't as active as he should have been b/c of Cotto's pressure. He couldn't handle it as well as he should have. So you might as well titled the thread "Zab could have won easily if Cotto wasn't so aggressive" which isn't even an argument.

i dunno man...Judah did **** in this fight and when he did Cotto had big problems. Cotto fought the perfect fight and hats off to him. But lets be honest here, Judah was a heavy bag. Anyone got punchstats? Judah threw the wrong punches...more straight lefts and combos on the inside would have secured a TKO for Zab.

It can be said Cotto took the fight out of Judah by constant pressure and I can agree w/that.

I think Zab needs a premiere trainer to bring the best out of him. Hes got the skills and talent, he just needs to sharpen his game mentally. Loved this fight and wouldnt mind seeing a rematch.

Cotto won clearly tonight. I am a Zab fan, but people that are saying Zab should have let his hands go, he couldn't because that's just the styl ehe fights. I think that Cotto would have recognized this, piled the pressure on, and came away with the win.
