if zab was more active he would have knocked cotto out ... everytime the left hand landed clean , cotto wobbled ... even in the first round ...

i even thnk clottey would beat cotto ...
anybody dat gets hit coming in has a weak chin. and as far as "if zab was more active" im sure there was a good reason he wasn't.maybe it was da jab da body shots or da fact dat judah is never "more active" in any round i have ever seen him fight unless he stuns an opponent but then he backs off again. i give judah his props thoug. dis was his best performace. but he settled for his only weapon his left uppercut.

Cotto has a good chin but was open for that straight left but Zab didnt let his hands go. Cotto is very physcially strong and a great body puncher. The one low blow u can clearly see his head was being pushed down the other one was an accident. ANd for the ZAb fans crying what do u think it felt like when Mayweather got hit low which was on purpose by the way, and then cracked on the back on the head. Cotto VS Mayweather needs to happen peace.

there's no WAY cotto loses to sugar shane, he takes an OBVIOUS L to mayweather, however.

da first low blow was on da hip and ur right about da second one. cotto lunged forward with a jab and judah pulled his head down as he was throwing a body shot with da right. i think ppl need excuses.

I think you mean, there is no way he beats Sugar Shane. He's a perfect match for Cotto, he is the naturally bigger man, he is faster and is actually more powerful. He is active and a good boxer. The only people Shane really has a problem with is tall boxers who use their jab to perfection, which Cotto isn't. It will probably be something like Mosley- Vargas III, except a lot harder, cause Cotto is 50 times better then Vargas, but I see the same result, Mosley out-classes Cotto. Shane is a bigger, better and far more consistent version of Judah.

no, re-read. i meant what i said. how's sugar shane naturally bigger than cotto?? huh-please explain that one to me. like judah was the naturally bigger man, you, like others, my friend, just spout off at the mouth to substantiate a bull**** post. like the one you left in your first reply to me. oh, you didn't realize that cotto almost handled, if he wanted to, judah with a jab? did you miss that in the fight? shane's not bigger, especially @ 35 and having to dehydrate himself to get to 147, you're kidding yourself boy.

the only "version" of judah that beats cotto is mayweather. i put everything on the fact that a 35 year old mosley would catch a BEATING at the hands of cotto.

Before the Judah fight, I saw Cotto beating Shane, losing to Mayweather.

After the Judah fight, I see both of them losing, and not by decision, except maybe Mayweather.

I don't see Cotto losing the fight against Mayweather, I see another tough fight for Floyd like his 1st with Castillo, but Cotto just continously pressing the action and winning by being the more active fighter and landing some big blows.

I wouldnt say he has a weak chin myself he took those shots and didnt go down!!! but he may be shocked if he was to move up to 154 against some bigger punchers like vargas or Mayorga!!! i think he can take a good punch at 147!!! his stamina was awesome for the fight and thats what saved him in them early rnds when zab was rocking him!!!

platinumknuckle - you know what, you're a complete moron for starting this thread. if you dislike cotto, fine, if he looks funny to you, fine, if you think hes a dirty fighter, fine. you've sold yourself as ****** in making a thread that cotto doesn't have a good chin when he took ALL that judah (a KO artist) had to offer right on the chin without going down.

now, tell me you novice, whats the definition of a good chin?

People seem to forget cotto got his chin rocked by soft hitting chop chop... He doesn't have a glass jaw but his chin is very suspect if you ask me. I never saw oscar, floyd, winy, or hopkins wobble and hold on for dear life after a shot.
