now that both guys won their fights last night, this sets up a possible match-up in the near future. Who do you think wins this one? I think Tarver could pull off a decision win, but it won't be easy fighting at 38 against a 24 year old.

i think Roy jones will fight chad dawson next if roy jones beats his next opponent. If it happens to be tarver, i think chad will end tarvers career. -

Dawson is incredible. He has the most skill in the Light Heavyweght division. With that said, his chin is still questionable, and Tarver has good power still. Im in the minority, I think Tarver would win by late TKO.Comment

I saw Dawson's fight vs. Adamek and I saw him live in Hartford last night, this guy has the potential to be the future of the light heavyweight division. He is a very solid fighter and very polished, hes only going to get better. After seeing Tarver last night, I do think Dawson would beat Tarver. Tarver at this point is a good fighter but I don't see him improving since hes 38. Things will probably only get worse, but maybe I'll be wrong.Comment

Dawson is incrediblely skilled and I think he would outbox Tarver. The only way I see Tarver winning this is through a late knockout on a luck punch. The key to beating Tarver is getting up in his face and throwing. You have to make Tarver work because he is known to become fatigued after he throws his combinations.

Tarver gets embarrassed and out classed nearly proving that his left hand KO of Roy Jones was a shot in the dark.
