I know and thats the problem. Its good "but".........

Remember, Im talking about the elite. I will pick him all day against most guys but when Im questioning him, its about against guys like Floyd, Shane, Margarito, Clottey, and so on. When he gets in with one of them then will he win, will he just lose, or will he get completely exposed? I dont mind him losing to one of them but Im just scared that he could get totally dominated. I dont know if it will happened but I wouldnt be shocked either. I would be shocked to see those other guys get dominated except for maybe Floyd just boxing Margarito's ears off. I wouldnt mind seeing a battle of the young guys between Cotto & Cintron. That would be a war

I have come to the conclusion that no matter what a Puerto Rican fighter does, he will not get credit;"but" a flash in the pan like alan greene comes back to ko the white boy who almost ended his career prematurely and he gets mad props. Biased ****s

There is a huge difference. Greene is a good little solid fighter and thats it. No one ever thinks he can be great and no one ever compares him to greatness. We judge Cotto hard because more is expected of him. Alot of people think he has the tools to be the elite. No one would pick Green over a guy like Hopkins but there will be alot who would pick Cotto over the P4P best in Mayweather. Thats why you have to judge him differently.

Its not a PR thing. Alot of people loved Tito. Even Tito seemed different. He was different because he was clearly flawed but no one even cared because he would stop elite guys. Also, Tito's chin seems better to me. Tito got dropped all the time but he never looked hurt. He never look dazed or anything. He would just go down and get right back up like nothing. I pretty much think thats better then seeing Cotto lose his legs on every big punch and look punch drunk at times. Tito's KD's are like Zab's was against Spinks. When Spinks dropped Zab you knew he wasnt hurt at all but when Zab would hit Spinks he would always get hurt even when he didnt go down

          hmm

I watched the fight 2 times and i didnt say any chicken dance from cotto this time...and as the fight progressed judah landed some shots that cotto just ate and walked thru. What i see in cotto is a tremendous heart and will to win. He is relentless. He attacked judahs body..and when u watch again i believe in round 6 a left hook landed to Zabs ribs and if you pause it and look at Zabs face he was clearly in pain when it landed. Someone else wrote that floyd took all of Zabs shots and didnt flinch. I remember floy'd actually putting his glove on the canvas that fight and it wasnt scored a Knock Down. The point is that He gets hit alot and keeps coming he doesnt go running around the ring pitter pattering you to death...this is what the fight fans need and boxing needs, more fighters. Its more than just the paycheck. He has a cut on the eyebrow..huge gash on his lip straight thru and doest complain just keeps going to work. There is no
"But" with me you can throw a "But" with every fighter. Take it for what it is he WINS..

I guess Cotto will never please everyone. The man is exciting and he comes to fight every time so what's the big deal.

I see what you're saying and if you come to think about it most if not all elite fighters have the same problem. How many "buts" havent' we heard from PBF (great but not winning impressively), Calzaghe (elite but hasn't been really tested, Lacy was overrated), Marquez (crazy power but has been dropped so he has a questionable chin) and many others. Elite fighters find ways to win, and that Cotto did against a guy who hit harder, was faster, a southpaw, had better experience in big fights and a better boxer. "Buts" don't mean ****.

cotto does what he does well.. but I think a brutal KO is only a matter of time for him to experience.
