I think he could. Relentless pressure, body shots, power, decent speed. Just the chin he has to worry about.

I agree with everything you have said. If Cotto can put that kind of pressure on Floyd and sustain it then he will either stop him or take a decision.

Nah, not a chance. Judah had him frequently walking onto counters. Floyd would have him walking onto counters, follow it up with a flurry and disappear before Cotto knew what hit him.

I think it's possible, but I think Floyd would beat him. Cotto left his face open way to much. I think Mayweather's defense would hold up a lot better then Zab's. I'd have my money on Floyd, but anything's possibly, especially the way Cotto fights.

Oh god no. Floyd wins on cuts. Cotto is far too economical to beat Floyd. You have to outwork Floyd with waves and waves of punches. A guy like Ricky Hatton could do it. Cotto would not because Floyd would just pepper him with shots and probably stop him on cuts.

Even an old Oscar would and did give Floyd a better fight than Cotto ever would. Miguel would flounder aimlessly in the ring.

but at 147 Floyd would be more in his element. Plus, Oscar is taller then Floyd and he has never been a good pressure fighter. He does not throw punches in bunches. Cotto is much too economical in his punch output to even put a dent in Floyd, IMO.
