I don't know, man. Micky Ward was a helluva body puncher himself, doesn't have the overall talent that Cotto has, but , I think Ward comes pretty close to Cotto on body punching alone. I remember Judah being asked if he has ever been hurt in a fight, this was prior to his losses to Tszyu, Baldo, and Mayweather. Judah replied by saying Ward was the hardest hitter he has ever faced.Cotto is the most highly skilled body puncher that Zab has ever faced. Cotto ruins his opponents physically. Zab has never been hit by someone as consistently powerful as Cotto, nor has he faced many fighters with as much will to win. I doubt Zab has been in with anyone who can cut the ring off and who can crack as hard to the body.
Now tell me who Zab has fought that resembles Miguelito?
Anyway, I like Cotto and ZAB. But, Cotto looks dry in those weigh-in pics and ZAB as we all know is coming off the longest layoff of his career, that recent bout he had on ESPN2 wasn't even a fight, it wasn't even a warm-up.
I'm goin' w/ ZAB on this one, in the beginning I picked Cotto. But, Judah has the style, and if Cotto's pics are telling, then ZAB all the way. Cotto had fits w/ a busted up Malignaggi's speed, what more w/ ZAB's turbo-ass and on top of that HE'S A SOUTHPAW. However, all it takes is one punch for Cotto to get it goin' 'cause ZAB is like a Tyson or a DLH, when the tough get goin' they don't like being the ring anymore. Anyway, GO BROOKLYN, BROOKLYN STYLE(LOL)Last edited by We want Floyd; 06-08-2007, 09:23 PM.Comment
