I find it amusing how many people on this site speak as though their word is gospel, despite being in the minority.

Admittedly, the holding-on against Urango was excessive and needless but against Collazo it was only really in the last round and in my opinion it was the only available option at what was a critical time in the fight.

You see this sort of comment is the reason why Hatton has an undeserved reputation for excessive holding. A bunch of people who haven't seen many of his fights trying to outdo each other in some sort of competitive cleverness invitational. "Ricky Hatton hugs so much that if he fought a bear it would be like... Huggy Bear... ahahahaha...". Drop it please.

Hatton is a very entertaining fighter, he always gives it his all and goes toe to toe with people.

Hatton has said he may have taken his latest opponents a bit lightly since he beat Kostya and that is why his performances werent up to scratch. But against Urango he wasnt feeling all that well.
