I don't think Ricky will be able to cope with that.

i think hatton has skills. you can see flashes during fights but then he ruins it by holding. i really dont enjoy his fights and its because of all the holding.

What is the difference between holding an opponent and simply keeping out of range, ala Mayweather?

If this thread isnt biased or negative towards Hatton, why does he post a blindly ONE-SIDED video in the topic post consisting of one round (and the LAST round) from the one fight that Hatton 'hugged' much more than any of the other 40+ fights in his career?

Furthermore, why are there two options for 'no' (one direct, one qualified) and only one direct option for yes?

Dont be an idiot. This thread could barely be much more obviously slanted.

there really is no difference in that it spoils a fight. i am in no way a hatton hater its just that he really goes overboard. he'll throw a punch or two and then holds almost every single time with no warning from the ref. and the fight gets really boring. if mills lane was still around he wouldnt allow this to happen.

I've only seen his fights that have been televised on HBO (Collazo and Urango).

I thought it both fights he held way to much. The Collazo fight was entertaining overall. The Urango fight he knew he was ahead so he just started grabbing at a certain point. What was so irritating about it was he obviously didn't have to be holding.
